I am dissatisfied with the service that I received at your Dunkin Donuts located in Colleyville, TX. On February14,2019 at 3:30pm CST . My family and I decided to get some ice cream. So I ordered my daughter a single scoop of ice cream to go. However after finding out that they had no lids for the ice cream cup to go, we decided to eat it in store, only to find out they also ran out of spoons?! We ended using sample spoons to eat ice cream ( RIDICULOUS).Now before I ordered the single scoop ice cream cup I ordered a large iced latte. I waited, waited and waited (15-20mins). No latte. So I go back to register to let them know about it and the employee seemed HIGHLY aggravated with me for some reason( Probably because of the refund request). Without saying- "I'm sorry"...."I apologize"...."Is there anything we can do to make right"? Instead, in complete silence she takes my receipt and refunds my $2.00 and hands me a refund receipt and walks back over to ice cream section of the store and helps someone else. It's as if me and my family selecting your establishment and giving you my business MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. That was my 1st and last time at a Dunkin Donuts. I usually always go to the Dunkin’ Donuts on Centerville Rd in Garland, but due to the convenience of my morning commute, I decided to switch to this location. I always order using the Dunkin Donuts app, and today is the THIRD time that I’ve ordered, and each time my order has been incorrect. I always order a dark roast, iced coffee with cream, no sugar and hazelnut flavor. Every time I go to pick up my order, and try it, I have been given the regular roast coffee. I don’t have time to tell the staff to fix it, because I have to get to work, hence the reason why I always order via the mobile app. Today, I went to pick up my coffee, and it wasn’t there because someone picked it up on an accident. I see why: The staff there is not labeling the cups with the receipt that prints out with the customer name. The worker apologized, and promptly made me another coffee, and once again, I was given regular roast coffee, when the order receipt clearly says DARK ROAST. So I’m being charged for something that I am not getting. This is unacceptable. The point of the mobile app is so things like this don’t happen. Read moreThis review/rating is mainly only considering their coffee beverages. I figure everyone knows their donuts. 😉 The donut holes have been a favorite of mine since youth and for donuts I would rate a 4.
I have now tried a majority of their coffee beverages. Their iced coffee is fairly good (but nothing special). Their hot coffee is average at best. All the "specialty" hot beverages I have tried are horrible though. Tried their latest Signature Latte (Caramel) and it was disgusting. Tried several varieties of their normal latte (mocha, caramel, no flavor) and they are all fairly horrible too.
I would only recommend getting the iced coffee (as you like it, e.g. sweetened, caramel, etc.). And of course the donuts, especially donut holes. Though also don't care for their apple fritters (whatever they might call them) as they are near the worst I have ever had (too doughy).
This location is well kept, clean, hard workers, etc. No complaints on the location. Sometimes they run out of specific items but that is true of all locations and all...
