La Bou Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Sacramento

Accidentally placed an order at the Posey location. When I went in I asked for my order. The employee said we don't have your order. I had my confirmation in my hand. She said she will check with her manager. The manager came out and looked at the confirmation and told me I placed the order at the wrong location. I politely told her that I Googled the nearest La Bou - Posey's. I'm not from Sacramento, but I do work here and nearby the La Bou I had thought I placed the order. The manager then told me to scan the QR code and place the order again. By the way, when I placed my order, I even included a tip. She told me she couldn't redo the order unless I pay for it again. I'm sorry, but this is horrible customer service. I had proof and I was understanding, but I find it difficult to believe they can't remake a simple sandwich - which I had the confirmation to prove I had placed the order. Amazing customer service with a warm welcoming environment the cashier was sweet and greated me as I walked in. The location is clean and and the food was hot and fresh fully stocked with all the condiments I needed for my coffee. I was out doing some Christmas shopping this morning and decide to give this location a chance and I’m glad that I did; “DD” the customer service lady working at the time is super sweet and speaks to everyone with love and kindness a true humanitarian giving the customer service that people wish that could get every where but at least we know that at least here we are appreciated as customers. A lot of sitting areas and a bathroom available for use. I sat in front of the window and the table top bar like setting and just enjoyed the little view out the window as I sipped on my coffee and took a little me time to enjoy the peaceful environment. Today was me and my husband's second time at this location. We ordered the Mediterranean Turkey and California Turkey sandwich combo with a Cesar salad and they were very tasty. I so recommend this location to anyone. The customer service is awesome very welcoming people. In my opinion it might be a bit pricy but I do believe they are worth there money. We came for the tomato bisque soup but they were out today. No problem we'll be back soon. Food taste fresh and clean. First time today trying there cookies yummy.
