do not go here. party of 6 went for my partners birthday sept 2024. there were three other patrons with fresh drinks in the small bar when we walked in, we stood awkwardly in the entrance of the bar because no one greeted us, after we spent collectively $80 on ducks or lotions that we made (wish we didn’t give this place anymore money) so we walked up to the “bartender” who had their face buried in their phone to place an order, we placed the drinks under the same table that i paid before we got the drinks, we sit down and my partner absolutely hates her drink. not the bars fault, she just didn’t like it so i went up to the bartender and said “my partner didn’t like her drink, can i pay for her replacement” and the woman rolled her eyes and said “well that would mean i would have to make another drink”. there were no new patrons that walked into the bar, at this point, the three that were there left at this point so i guess facebook on their phone was more important than making the bar money, we left and got back to our hotel for me to check my bank and see that they charged me for 3X the amount of what the drinks were supposed to be. luckily, whenever i travel i take pictures of the receipts with the tip total and signature. this place has weird hours and for some reason they were closed for like 3-4 days after we went to this place, i cannot get ahold of anyone but yet they’re posting on socials which im commenting on as well. a week goes by, emails ignored so I call my bank to dispute the charge showing all the failed attempts in contact, my bank refunds me the money and i not 30 minutes later get a nasty email from this place asking why i did that because “they were handling it”. i wrote a review for this place when it happened and now i can’t find it so im posting it every time i see that they take it down. there are so many better places in town to go than this place. look at the reviews. half of them show how rude...

We visited The Tipsy Duck Parlor in St. Augustine, FL, on Blackout Wednesday, enticed by its convenient location just a 10-minute walk from home. The bar was buzzing with excitement, but also quite crowded, with all seats full and two groups already in line ahead of us.

The evening had its challenges, primarily due to the bar being understaffed. With only one person making 'ducktails' (cocktails), it took around 30 minutes to place our order and an additional 10 minutes to receive our drinks. This delay, however, gave us enough time to secure a table for four. A notable issue was the lack of a structured queue system, allowing some patrons to start new lines and order ahead of others.

On the positive side, the ambiance of The Tipsy Duck offered plenty of photo opportunities, making it a visually appealing spot. The drinks themselves were cool and enjoyable.

However, the service experience could have been better. The sole bartender, understandably overwhelmed by the workload, appeared to be in a poor mood and was less than cordial with customers. This was particularly evident when we asked for clarification on a drink menu item, and the response made us feel belittled.

Regarding the cost, it was as expected for a specialty cocktail parlor – we spent just over $100 for two rounds (totaling 8 drinks) plus a tip. This pricing seems reasonable for the quality and uniqueness of the drinks offered.

In retrospect, if I were to visit The Tipsy Duck again, I'd choose a less busy time, perhaps opting for just one round of their unique 'ducktails'...

Eclectic hidden gem hidden in the heart of St. Augustine inside the Bath Junkie. This bar offers a lot of unique libations in a cute atmosphere.

We came to St. Augustine with the sole purpose of visiting this bar for a birthday gathering and it was a great experience. The drinks were tasty, albeit a bit on the weaker side. I really enjoyed drinking my drink, The "Tipsy Duck," from a cute little bathtub. You can tell a lot of thought that goes into their drinks! They are also very reasonably priced!

The atmosphere itself is totally cute with digital bubbles on the bar, duck bar stools, a water wall, bubbles, and, of course, as many rubber ducks as possible!

I will say that it is hot inside the bar! They do have a lot of tower fans, but we were pouring sweat the whole time. It's also very crowded. One of the round tables was being used by some guys without a single beverage, while 5 of us stood waiting for 30 minutes for a seating area to open up. As cute as the sofas are in the corner, they could fit 4 tables with 5 chairs instead. But I get the aesthetic, and it is very appreciated. We sat in that area, and it was nice for photos.

I'll definitely be back, but maybe on a weekday in November when...
