While my other experiences at this shaved ice stand were fantastic, my last visit was the worst I have experienced for these reasons: the owner was running the stand at this time and he made us wait for about 15 minutes just to take our order, but there was no one in line; the portions were greatly decreased and not worth the price; not nearly enough flavor; the ice was chunky and not very thin, as shaved ice is supposed to be; the tables were all very dirty and sticky, and the owner did not bother to clean up; and he decided to smoke right next to us as we were eating our shaved ice. Took my family here for a quick treat after lunch. The serving sizes were great and the girl who worked there was very fast and friendly. They did have a lot of different flavor options and you can even mix and match to get exactly what you want or are looking for. One of the coolest options is you’re able to add coconut ice cream to the middle of your shaved ice. We had never heard of this being done before but it actually tasted really good. They only had one girl working. It took 35 minutes to get our snow cones. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, we found out that they were out of vanilla ice cream and they don’t have sugar free flavors so I left empty handed and my husband didn’t really get what he wanted anyways because they were out of vanilla ice cream but we decided to order instead of walking away because we had already waiting in line for 20 min.
