Not giving a 1 star for the store because furniture is great! but the manager herself is 1/5. She is disrespectful to her customers!! Even ones that make there payments on time.
Back story: Sometime in January my mother was making a payment with another employee and after the payment was made the employee asked my mother if she had any questions regarding her stuff. ( She has two electric bike) well she did and told him that one bike keeps getting a flat tire since she's had it and she didn't know if it was because of the cold weather. The employee never heard about the bikes doing that so he said he'll ask the bike guy.
A week goes by and she called and asked about the bike guy. and the employee said he forgot but he'll be sure to contact him.
The third week later my mother called and the manager answered and she asked did your employee ever contact the bike guy that does repairs on the bikes and she cut her off with a attitude and said we don’t do repairs Claudia. My mother said It was just as common courtesy question he was gonna ask and he volunteered. TO BE CLEAR my mother NEVER asked if the employee could do that .. And then the manager says "we don’t do repairs Claudia" My mother stated again that she wasn't asking to get a repair she's asking for the question that he courtesy asked to ask the bike guy and she was on one that day then she hung up on her.. so that’s how that started...
Since January my mother has been making payments with other guy. This past Saturday (02/17/24) when she was going to make another payment, but this time the manager answered. My mother asked when is her three months up and the manger said you have four more payments, she wasn’t asking for the payments. She wanted to know when her three months are up from when she purchased it and again she said she had four payments left and so my mother said she didn't have time to argue with her. So she hung up but the manager never confirmed her payment. She didn’t say "OK went through " like always...
so my mom made the payment online.. hour later she saw that her card was charged AGAIN... she called and said she wanted a refund because her card was charged twice.. the manager in a very fake voice said "you made two payments that's GREAT" my mother said " no you charged my card again without my permission." She was giving my mother a hard time and didn't want to refund her..
My mother ended calling the salt lake store and was telling them the situation ........ the gal she was talking to happened to be the managers daughter there was no problem there but she was looking at my mothers account and noticed that the manger in St George was refunding it now.. Was that so hard?? What was the point after giving her a hard time?? Was it a power move, was it to intimidate her??

My mother tried to make a payment online today to avoid calling the manager and when she tried it, it said she was not allowed to make payments. So I called for her and made the payment.
When I asked why it was disabled the manager said " due to miscommunication from last week it had to be disabled" the miscommunication was that the manager charged her account again after my mom made the payment online !!
Seems kind of a coincidence after there last heated phone call and one bad review later she would of course disable it.. ( how is it her fault for it to be disabled??) she made the payment online first, the manager should've have seen that the payment was made ... in all reality its the managers fault. After explaining that to her she proceeded to tell me that i can't speak to her about it since I'm not on the account, Which is understandable but at this point she had already told me the reason and she let me make a payment ...
I've never witnessed bullying/harassment on this level especially from a grown women.. Was going to buy furniture from this store for my new home that'll be up and ready in a few months but from seeing poor customer service for the last month I will continue buying my furniture...
