We have been traveling across the country, visiting designated Jubilee churches on our journey, leaving donations at each we visit on our pilgrimage. We had one final church in the SLC Diocese, St. George. The church was closed and locked. The adoration chapel was closed and locked. Soon a woman walked up and she, too, could not believe it was closed. Catholic Churches should always be open, especially those that are designated Jubilee by the Dioceses. Read moreMy husband and I are Canadians who were overnight in St. George, Utah, enroute to Zion National Park. We went to the 9 am mass on Sunday, May 21 at St. George Catholic Church. I loved the warm feeling as I entered this small church... particularly the sight down the center aisle AND the back wall of the altar.
