Had a wonderful experience here a few years ago. I had a cocktail that was simply transcendent and I’ve been thinking about it since. I’ve told so many friends about it. So, on a recent, spontaneous birthday trip to St. Pete this bar was on the ticket! I was so excited to come back. However, my most recent trip to Saigon Blonde was, let’s say, lackluster. It was a slow weekday night, hardly 6 patrons total and we were spoken to with a shrug of the shoulders by the bartender when I inquired about said cocktail that I so desired to taste again. The decor is great but the atmosphere was as cold as the stuffed gator hanging from the ceiling. And I love gators. RIP. The staff didn’t even seem to want to be there. I’ve worked in front of house/service my whole career but the hospitality here was simply not it. Okay, maybe a bad shift? But my boyfriend asked for a non alcoholic drink to which the bartender said they could make anything. When he asked for a coke they responded, “We don’t have coke.” No options provided. Not even Pepsi. Okay, you have to laugh at that! The artwork & decor is cool & the history of a safe haven bar during war is cooler… but this is sadly no longer at the top of my suggested stops...

A Hidden Gem in St. Pete – Saigon Blonde is a Must-Visit!

Saigon Blonde quickly became one of our favorite spots during our first trip to St. Pete. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was effortlessly cool and welcoming. The cocktails? Simply phenomenal. If you’re looking to unwind, I highly recommend trying their CBD-infused drinks—they’re both unique and incredibly relaxing.

A huge shoutout to Aaron, the incredibly talented mixologist who crafted a few custom vodka-based CBD cocktails for me. The “Dragon Lady” was a personal favorite—smooth, refresh, and beautifully balanced. If you’re more of a bourbon lover, definitely ask Aaron for his take—it’s his liquor of choice, and you can taste the passion in every pour.

Yes, we drank more than we probably should have… but no regrets here. The drinks, the atmosphere, the service—it all made for an unforgettable afternoon. We’ll...

Very cool spot. Moodily lit, outstanding cocktail list, very with-it bar service. Interesting craft drink choices. We liked everything we had (sampling liberally from the menu).

The decor is interesting & eclectic enough to keep your attention. It's a small enough space to not be overwhelming. Lots of less-common liquors used on their menu, as well as some house-infused items.

One of those great little places that I almost don't want to share, but also want to thrive (so I'm sharing). We stopped in late, a bit drunk, but wanting good quality-- they took very good care of us. This is on my short list of places to return to in St Pete.

Lots of parking in the area. Note there's no kitchen here but you're welcome to bring in your carryout. There's a decent pizza joint one block away (among many choices in this district of St Pete). Highly...

Probably my new favorite place EVER! Definitely making it on the list of best rum old fashions and overall best vibe. Went on a busy Sunday downtown during the races and it was very quiet. Enjoyed getting away from the hustle and bustle of the busy street. Bartender Tiffany was awesome and very personable. Offer some drink suggestions and chatted with us a bit before we cashed out. Music was super low key and chill. Atmosphere was awesome and there was a LOT to look at. Fun and funky drink wear. Comfortable seating and some couch areas to spread out and relax. Two bar areas for times. Also have some CBD drink options as well.

Where to begin? This place is very eclectic, the decorations are all over the place. Super fun and very upbeat all the while being kind of dark and mysterious. The drinks were good. I tried a few different specialty cocktails. I do not recall the names of the drinks; however, I remember that they were all tasty and most of them very pretty! This bar features an upstairs and a downstairs lounge area. There is also out front, sidewalk seating. I mean, it is in DTSP and what is DTSP without foot traffic and people watching😊 All in all this was a great little find on a Sunday Funday in DTSP.
