Talk about southern hospitality! These folks have it nailed. It starts off with security, Gen knows how to make you feel safe and looked after, if Pedro Pascal isn’t available to keep me safe during a zombie apocalypse, Gen is my second choice. The bar: Nick has really assembled a top knotch crew that really knows how to pop the top on a Busch latte! From both Emilys, Marissa, and Sim the bar team is one of the best teams assembled since the original Mighy Morphin Power Rangers (RIP Tommy). The Music: Immaculate, other than ignoring my multiple genuine requests for them to play a Lynyrd Skynyrd classic about the liberation of a particular aviary species, the music is always great with a mix of country (obviously) all the way to heart wrenching renditions of welcome to the black parade. Management, talk about a heart throb: Alex is a mix of Travis Kelce, Chris Stapleton, and Ryan Reynolds. Some say he’s single handedly put Morgan Freeman and Sir David Attenborough out of business with his sultry voice. Nick, (there’s two, I know I was confused at first too) other than the fact that James Harden goes to him for beard tips, he really runs the best VIP section in Tampa Bay. Imagine if the Met Gala was held in the back of a country bar, this is the closest comparison I can make to the exclusive premium experience that Nick has created. Ultimately, if you want to have the best night of your life, go to Welcome to The Farm. If you don’t want to have the best night of your life, maybe you should reevaluate why you won’t let yourself be happy, you’re loved, this is a safe space, it’s not...
Read moreabsolutely atrocious security. I am disgusted by the way women were treated in this bar. These security guards were grabbing and shoving myself, my friends and many other girls around me throughout the night. At no point were people ever asked not to stand somewhere or not to enter somewhere. Rather than being asked or told where to walk/ stand (which I understand in a busy place is needed to manage traffic and ensure safety) the security got physical with everyone. At no point did I feel safe in this establishment, your security were quite literally terrorizing the entire bar. They are lucky me and others did not press charges. At one point they pushed a big group of people (myself included) so hard several girls fell down, and a few phones (including mine) dropped. I have no idea who trained these people, but they need to be retrained. Harassing women physically at every part of the bar for doing this like using the bathroom or attempting to enter the patio bar is deplorable. Personally my friends and I are very respectful and only need to be told once not to enter somewhere/ not to stand somewhere. Assaulting us and others will never be necessary. I can tell you guys hide bad reviews with random good ones- but any women reading this be warned. You will likely be grabbed and shoved by egotistical anger issue security guards for no apparent reason. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life and I’ve been to so many bars in so many...
Read moreI was on vacation in Tampa and my friend and I checked out the bar on Friday night and really enjoyed the live music. It made us feel like we were in Nashville. We decided to go again for a second time the following day on Saturday night. We arrived around 8-9 and it was very busy. We stood by a crowd control stanchion near the right side of the stage and did not move around too much because space was limited. A worker named Madeline Cappola came behind me, tapped my shoulder, and rudely remarked, “You need to stop leaning back on the line.” I neutrally replied “I’m not leaning on it.” She looked at me and yelled “Yes you are b!*$#”. I looked away and did not say anything back to her, but I was in absolute shock by the horrible customer service I was given. I was not drunk or disrespectful in any way to her or anyone else. If she was concerned that I may be too close to the stanchion, she could’ve approached me politely and ask me if I could please make sure not to get near the stanchion. Overall, I’m very disappointed with my experience because this was the best bar I had come across until I had the horrible interaction with the worker. I will most likely...
