Smoothie King — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

Manager (I assume from the polo while everyone else was in a tshirt) was so rude. I went at the end of the counter waiting for a mobile order after several minutes while she kept looking at me. I asked if this where I check in for a mobile order she said “name?” and rolled her eyes. I gave her my name and said she was working on it right. I kindly said thank you and stood back. She walked back to the blender and said “it said 20 minutes” under her breath clearly having an issue that I arrived a little early. I didn’t mind waiting as I understood they are busy and I was in fact early. The rudeness was not needed as I was not upset it wasn’t ready just wanted to make sure I was in the right area and they knew I had arrived. this is my experience almost every time I go so I felt compelled to right a review now. My husband and I are good friends with the owner of the Tyrone location and they always provide the best service! We will drive the extra distance from now...

I never complain about much ,but the smoothie they made my baby sister was not good . This review isn’t based on that ,but on the fact when my mother went in to ask if there was “any way they could make a new one for her” , the manager or whoever was in charge immediately responded with no not unless you buy a new one. She was not kind whatsoever like others who work there . Always positive experiences except for today. I work in a fast paced restaurant and if someone doesn’t like their smoothie, we make a new one with no question and it takes up time but we do it. If your ONLY job is to make smoothies , then why not fix one that was made poorly? I understand it happens ,but be kind not nasty when you butcher the one job you have . How come restaurants and other places can give you refunds or remake things ,but when asked to do your job correctly you respond with a nasty...

Purchased one of the featured smoothies on the pamphlet yesterday May 3rd & drank a fraction of the smoothie then began to vomit as I was driving back down to Sarasota. Stopped at the location at least 10-15 times so far since I have been in the area. Came in today May 4th & spoke to “blonde lady” who was trying to ignore everything I said about me choosing the wrong smoothie that it didn’t sit well with my stomach hoping that she would replace it for something else. Come to find out she is the owner and ignored me completely then slapped 10$ on the end of the counter & then when I was trying to explain to her that I did not want a refund that I would prefer a replacement she took the money then refused to replace the drink that I purchased yesterday that I vomited up on my drive home.
