After placing my order, I patiently waited. There were two others ahead of me. They recieved their orders, then 3 other people who ordered recieved their orders, including a person who had a good order. I looked at cashier, who seemed to be avoiding eye contact. I then asked the person who was preparing beverages about my order, they did not respond to my inquiry right away, I thought there were ignoring me as well. Eventually, I was told my order was coming up soon. Two more orders were processed before I was handed my order. Never have I recieved such bad customer service from a Starbucks. Left a real bad taste in my mouth. I will never visit this location Again!! Will be a long time before I even visit another. I wanted to remove my tip that I had given at time of purchase from the jar. Only reason 2 stars given was for taste of beverage. And I always give Starbucks gift cards as gifts. That also ends today!!! I understand short staffing and being overworked, but you should always treat customers how you would want...
Read moreTypical Starbucks with nice workers and drinks. Not the biggest inside, but I can usually find a seat when I need to. But the outside is now awful. They revamped the seating, and the chairs are terribly uncomfortable. On top of that, the homeless have literally taken over every spot by the windows. They moved in, plug in their electronic devices and just live there...all day, every day. I don't know if they are patrons or not, but no one else can use those seats at all, and I used to love going to this location because of the outdoor seating with outlets. I know Starbucks came up with a policy of basically not kicking anyone out, but they are going to have to figure something out. The 1st ave location used to be known for their homeless population; now this location is too. There is free parking, but since there is no drive thru at this location, and there are other businesses around, parking can be a premium.
Update: I found a better coffee house without the problems...
Read moreI used to Love going to Starbucks. Until we moved to Tampa from NY. The short of it is that Starbucks barista's here in Tampa decided that they are not going to abide by Starbucks Corp policy and not leave the milk out on the island for customers. You have to request it. When you do, they threaten to charge u if you ask for a little more. Starbucks told me on the phone that it's very incorrect! I only called customer service because I received this kind of harassment in over a dozen locations! I have had only horrible experiences so far with Starbucks. A district manager contacted me & said that she will be working with the stores to rectify it. While they work on this, I stumbled across the target on Bloomingdale Rd. They keep the milk out always & i have only had great experiences there. I just go there now for Starbucks The times when decided to just go to Wawa not Starbucks, because I wasn't in the mood to argue with the barista's...
