Black Crow Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Saint Petersburg

I've been coming to this location for years, but will not be any longer. Its disappointing because the coffee is great, but after an incident with a family member, I cannot in good judgment continue to support them.

My sister in law came in for coffee with her baby and was sitting in the main room when her baby needed a diaper change. There is no public restroom or area to change the baby, so she went off to the corner and changed the baby on her own changing pad. She disposed of the diaper and cleaned the area. An employee approached her and told her that is not allowed inside the coffee shop and continued to make comments that made her so uncomfortable that she left. She is not a confrontational person, and she was so embarrassed and frustrated that she sat and cried in her car. I wish I had been there to stand up for her. She is a new mom with a 5 month old, doing her best for her baby. I am disgusted with the actions of the Black Crow employee. This company loves to boast diversity and inclusion, but decided to alienate and embarrass a new mother. This building allows DOGS inside, but she cannot take care of her infant??

She reached out via Facebook on March 10th (17 days ago!!) and received a canned "Hi, thanks for contacting us. We've received your message and appreciate you reaching out."...with NO response.

You name it, they have it…in coffee! Cortado, Cold Brew, Jet Fuel, Americano, Brewed Coffee, Espresso, Cappuccino and Lattes. Plus, Mocha, Purple Haze, Caramel Sutra, Caramel Knowledge, Banana Mocha, Almond Mocha, Peppermint Mocha and Vanilla Bean.

My Latte and hubby’s brewed coffee were deep, rich and perfectly brewed.

Muffins- Cranberry Orange (GF), Blueberry (GF), Banana Nut, Maui Morning - we had the Cranberry Orange it was not overly sweet and heat up nice at home.

Cookies Rosemary Shortbread (would love to try next time)

Vegan Crowssant stuffed with vegan cream cheese & everything sprinkles, vegan pastry pockets with savory vegan gravy & steak(seitan), Savannah banana vegan bread, Vegan & GF chewy brownies with nuts

Crowssants Ham & Swiss,Spinach & Ricotta, Leek & Parmesan, Chocolate, Plain

Bagels Everything Bagels cow cream cheese and in- house made Vegan Cream Cheese (cashew / tofu base)

I love all the choices above, the parking was about a block away and we took our coffee to go. The cups were made from recycled...

Sorry to leave such a low review!! I absolutely love this space and have been going for quite a while. The baristas are absolutely amazing and provide such kind and quick service. Still such a go-to spot in the area. I must say, the piano is cafe area of the shop needs to go!! It doesn’t really serve the purpose of the business anymore. Hours have changed to shorter days; there are only so many hours in a day to hear 2 hours of piano practice (and violin because I guess people are bringing those in now). It honestly hinders the environment for many who come to shop to focus on work. And more importantly, it hinders the baristas ability to provide efficient and quality service for the coffee-drinkers of St. Pete who otherwise would love this space if not for the less than stellar distractions provided the piano and other instruments. I would love if something else were introduced in its place — perhaps a Photo Booth for more memories, and less lasting distractions, to be made at Black Crow...
