This cafe has such in interesting atmosphere. It is on the bottom floor of a building (The Salt Lake Hardware Company building) that was built in 1905. It has been restored and turned into an office building. The cafe is in an open area in the middle of the building is open all the way up to the roof. It was fun to just look around as I ate.
They are only open Monday through Thursday 8am - 2pm, for office hours breakfast and lunch, however the lunch I had was really good. I got there on a Wednesday about 20 minutes before they were closing and there were only two other customers before me. It was not busy. This was nice for me because I LOVE a quiet atmosphere to eat in.

When I first arrived I was so warmly welcomed and told about all the specials. Read moreThe Cafe is inside the Salt Lake Hardware building so it's not intuitive to walk into an office building. However, it's just down the hallway in common space so no issues.
The food is good and the service impeccable but the prices are a little high for what you get. A sandwich with some chips is $14.99. Based on the portion size it felt a bit over priced.
