So I'm kind of between a three and four star rating on this. And it's for one specific reason that just shouldn't be right at a hamburger place. I've heard about this place online on television advertisements and even on a local restaurant show on how good this hamburger establishment was. I went on a Saturday night at 6:00 not very crowded. Plenty of parking. Decent amount of seating. when I approached the counter to place my order the board up on the wall had many choices of different types of hamburgers. They really do have a good selection to choose from. I chose the half pound cheeseburger with brisket on top of it. the lady at the counter asked me what I wanted for my side and before I could answer she said oh by the way we're out of french fries. So 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday evening at a popular establishment and they're out of French fries. They did have hush puppies they did have onion rings but that's not what I want with my hamburger I want French fries. And it a place that has all the awards all over their walls and a local talk show host talking about it being the best burger in town I expected a complete meal which included for me French fries. I settled for a regular old bag of Lay's barbecue potato chips. When the burger was delivered to me it was missing French fries. That's because they were out on a Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m.. the bun the meat the brisket everything tasted really good on this hamburger. when I reached over to get my French fries I realized they were out on a Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.. all in all it's a good location Good Burger. But you cannot be out of french fries on a Saturday night at 6:00 p.m., you just can't. She couldn't tell me why they were out she just knew they were out will I give it another try? Probably in the future after I've tried more locations. but I'll probably call in advance to make sure they have french fries on a Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.. I recommend this spot definitely for the hamburger that I had cheeseburger with brisket on top great burger just disappointed in the overall meal itself missing the french fries. Go give it a try hopefully it...
Read moreNumber one. The fried fish sandwich(with fries and drink) were advertised on their website menu as being $9.99, yet I was charged 11.99 plus an extra 2.00 more to upgrade the drink. They charged me 2x.29 for something, but did not say for what nor did the reciept show what it was for. When asked if I could get just an extra cup(empty), they wanted to charge me for a full soda price(for an empty cup? Wow!). They did not tell me that to upgrade the soda I did buy was an extra 2.00 for the upgrade(therefore not giving me the option to accept the upgrade or not). There online menu said small onion rings were 1.99, however I was charged 4.00 for them! My burger was 11.99. The fries were cold and old, you could tell they were not cooked fresh. The burger was bland, no mayo, no mustard as their menu said comes on the burgers, no cheese that was supposed to be on it. All i all if I could rate this place a zero, I would. My entire order for two people that should have cost no more than 27.00(after tax), actually cost me 35.00. I have the reciept to prove it. The young white girl working is rude as heck. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It is highway robbery. Every full service restaurant in this city is outrageously overpriced as is every activity(fun thing to do) here is.

5am in the morning after eating at mark's outing, I was up throwing up. The food from mark's had made me sick( I had not eaten anything else after marks except a few cookies later). Do not eat at...

They have my vote! 🍔
My son actually asked if we could find a place with a good fish sandwich and I remember how close we were to Mark’s. I’ve been trying to get over here for over a year and finally had my chance. So glad I did!
Home of the original “Fatty’s” burgers, this East Side staple is a culinary destination just a mile from downtown San Antonio. Their menu features an amazing array of delicious burgers that had me struggling which to try. 🤤
I stiff armed the others and chose The Heisman 🙌🏽 featuring a thick 10 oz. fresh ground beef patty, smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, fresh sliced avocados, green leaf lettuce, juicy tomatoes, pickles, red onions, mayo and mustard on a toasted buttered bun. I mean…this thing was monstrous and beautiful. Juicy is an understatement folks. The thick bacon, succulent beef patty, and fresh avocado on that perfectly buttered bun…WINNER 🤩
My son LOVED his sandwich. I didn’t think he could finish that huge thing but he made me proud. The best part of it all is that we are both huge NY Knicks fans and we got to watch the game together while on our dinner date. It was special to say the least. 🥹
Loved my quick chat with Mark, the owner of Mark’s. Great guy doing great things for our community. I’m excited to find more opportunities to support Mark’s and get involved with their community works when I can. I can tell it’s all love at Mark’s. You can...
