We were vacationing here in San Antonio. Roadmap popped up in a search for local breweries and we’re so glad it did. The atmosphere was cool; open, inviting and clean. It’s family friendly, which is good for us nowadays. I saw both families and adult-only groups. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Taproom is spacious, which might get loudish when really busyMight be a good idea to add some soundproofing panels around. I liked the table size version of the ring game that they has several of. There were also the standard board games and CAH card games on hand. Roadmap was easy to find and there is sole parking directly across the street. The hours of operation are reasonable. We tried a couple flights before settling on pints. We especially liked the Professor Plum’s Alibi (Sour) and Wakeup Call (Coffee Stout). They did have 32oz cans that they will fill and cap for you if you want some to go; which is a nice touch. They also had Mexican Coke on hand for non-drinkers or, in our case, children. I might suggest they carry just a couple more options like that (Sprite, Dr. Pepper, etc.) All in all, it was a solid experience and I hope we are able to visit again when in the area. Keep up the good work!

This really is our favorite brewery in San Antonio! We were there when they opened and were there when they celebrated their 5 year anniversary! Roadmap is dog friendly and in a great location. There are several cool places close by and many people walking, biking or scootering around the area. They have TV for the big games but it's kept at a reasonable volume so you can actually have conversations. That is appreciated. They also usually have a food truck for snacks or meals and have a nice, lighted, outside seating area. The staff is friendly, knowledgable and the beer is great! Some of the brewery is open so you can see it. They offer a variety of different beers. I prefer sours or saisons and my husband likes a good hefe or hazy IPA. Roadmap always seems to have something for both of us. We love to play board games, have a few, good beers and pet all the dogs that visit. They also have a resident, beautiful calico kitty! Would love to see a big Jenga or Connect Four there to play. Cornhole is always fun! Roadmap has great staff. They offer a fun environment and games. But most of all, Roadmap has really great beer!

I was so excited to try Roadmap. My husband and I went around 12:30 PM on a Saturday in late May. Pros: It was not too crowded, easy to get a beer and find a seat, and easy parking. The place is cool looking, spacious, lots of windows and seating. You can bring your dogs inside to hangout with you, and that's a nice feature in a hot town! They offer three different size pours of their beers. Cons: The cool spacious look has the side effect of making it a very loud place, cavernously loud, especially when the giant Jenga games collapse. The bathrooms were small for such a large place but clean and nice. Sadly, the most important ingredient in the experience was missing; the beer was pretty bad. We tried four different beers, hoping to find one we liked. We didn't. In fact the Pale Ale was the worst beer I've ever tasted. I don't want to be rude, but I have to be honest here. I say, it's worth checking out if you are in the area, but order the smallest pours of the beers before ordering a full-size one.
