Visited the restaurant once more, this time accompanied by a friend. We opted for the malai kofta and chana masala, both served with rice.

Unfortunately, the rice was undercooked and had a firm texture. The malai kofta lacked moisture and flavor, while the chana masala was disappointingly bland, with the chickpeas not properly cooked. Quite a disappointing experience!

Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place anymore. I know good Indian food when I eat it, particularly as an Indian, and I rarely give 5 stars to Indian cuisine. I've had Indian food at many places in San Diego, and none of them hit the mark. This was really good food. I had the Malai Kofta, on 12/10/21.

They were primarily doing take out (Grubhub), but the man behind the counter was kind enough to put on a heater outside which was quite a wonderful experience against the cold ocean breeze at night.

The kofta's were soft and full of flavor, and the yellow curry was delectable. It looks like they opened fairly recently, and not as well heard of.

My husband and I are Indian cuisine lovers and can honestly say this spot is a gem! It is probably best to grab take out or order online. We decided to take it on the go and indulge at the beach. We both ordered our meals medium spicy and they were perfect! I typically am not a fan of the Korma my husband gets but I tried his anyway and liked it too! The cheese naan was a new one to us and we loved it. The garlic naan was delicious! My shrimp tikka masala was fantastic. If you dig Indian cuisine I think you’ll love this restaurant. They gave away our order. We ordered on door dash and waited 40 minutes. When we showed up they had accidentally given our food away to someone else. They tried calling the person for 10 minutes before finally offering to remake our food, another 20 min. We had a young baby with us so we couldn't wait even longer and it sucks because we ended up with no dinner as there was no time to pick up something else.

Mistakes happen but they didn't handle the situation well.

We also came the day before and they said they were closed on break, but their hours on the door and Google don't indicate a break.
