DROP EVERYTHING AND GO. DON'T EVEN LOOK FOR OTHER RESTAURANTS. I never and I mean NEVER review restaurants but I ordered this place from door dash and HOLY SH*T. Pros: •Freshness 10/10 •Quality 10/10 •Flavor 11/10 •Serving size 10484947/10 [I was expecting a small sad bowl from the price and even ordered a side of veggies to bulk it up! IT WAS TOO MUCH FOOD. At least 2-3 meals for me. The bowl was HEAVY and with the side definitely made 3 meals for me.] Cons: •Just a bit too far from where I live :(((( •Bout to take all of my $$ Notes: I spent ~$17 total on doordash (including delivery fees and driver tip). For sf this is an absolute STEAL. Super fresh, not "fake healthy" where there's hidden oil and you feel greasy afterwards. Note: I'm sensitive to oil so greasy foods make me feel really sick/nauseous. Nothing here! Just amazing flavor.
If yall wanna know what I ordered: Chickpea and potato mixed bowl + lemon thyme dressing and Ben's hot sauce. And clean vegetables side (sauce exactly the same as the bowl). I've been looking endlessly for a restaurant like this and I'm so happy I finally found it! Super healthy, affordable, and super satisfying.
TO THE OWNER: PLEASE OPEN A LOCATION NEAR RICHMOND! I...
Read moreJust another factory ghost kitchen. Avoid this place. Edit: Owner's attempt to discredit me because I've never posted another review before. That's some crafty PR! Here's the facts: this place shares a gigantic industrial (factory) kitchen with about 20 other restaurants, many of which have nearly identical products to this place. Not worth the money. Not even close.
I made the mistake of picking up from this place once. It is a total hell-hole. I felt awful for the delivery drivers who's livelihood depends on being stuck in that mess.
Saying they are a small business is disingenuous (however, it is excellent marketing). Places like this drive out local business because their profit margins are so wide that the real small business cannot keep up. There is big money behind this "small" take-out-only, ghost kitchen...
Read moreBetween my partner and I, we’ve tried a chicken bowl and a wagyu bowl. The lettuce used in both bowls is basically chopped iceberg lettuce. No dark greens. The chicken was tender but the salad overall was average. The wagyu was also tender, but if you slow cook any meat it will have this same texture. It really didn’t need to be wagyu.
We chose the balsamic and lemon dressings thinking they wouldn’t be overpowering but they turned out to both be cream based? Not sure why you would want to cover up wagyu beef with cream based sauces but it doesn’t seem like you have any other option.
We also had a side of potatoes and chickpeas (not sure why Ben describes these as “fudgy”) which were pretty savory and good.
If you’re looking for a hearty salad, try Kitava. Better flavors, ingredients,...
