Line was out the door and for good reason. With an amazing selection of great breakfast sandwiches and fresh coffee at a great price point, it's clear this is a great local spot which keeps people coming back. They run a tight ship behind the counter with orders constantly being yelled back to the cooks and then out the window to you when your order is done. The lady behind the counter is probably the nicest person on earth. If you don't crack a smile when you talk to her, I would be surprised. I visited the store in October. After arrival, I proceeded to the counter to place an order. The owner shouted at my wife saying that Starbuck coffee is not allowed there (my wife was holding a Starbuck coffee). I gently replied that we are here to purchase food from the store. Still he kept harassing us. After few minutes, and after purchasing both food and drink, the owner stopped his bad behavior. Utmost rude, insensitive and absolutely disrespectful owner. Last time I came here, I purchased a hot chocolate. The quality was as expected for the price, and the service was fast and friendly. It is a cute breakfast shop, and I am glad it is in proximity to the Transamerica Pyramid and redwood park, a place I hang out often. I wish it was open a past 12PM, but this is not a complaint. I will come again....
