Thee PLACE to hold a party in the financial district. My bosses tasked me with finding a place to hold a reception in the Financial District, as part of a larger conference. I contacted many places. Gina, the owner of Gochees Pizza, came through for us! We took over the entire restaurant, purchased a catering package for 100 people and she gave us a flat rate on beer, wine, sodas and teas. Everyone loved the party, they are still talking about it. They say it was the best party of the entire conference. The place, the food, the drinks, the friendly service, everything! I've been there twice since they took over Orgasmica's space because I work a block away crave a slice of pie from time to time. Both times it was barely warm, very lacking on toppings, , very bland, and the staff wasn't exactly rude but acted like I was bothering them asking about when the pies were cooked (looked like it had been sitting there a while). Both times there only a couple others in the space but the staff was really too busy chatting about nonsense to be bothered. Honestly, Round Table is better and I am not a fan of chain restaurants. Two stars because I didn't see any rats or bugs....
