I recently had the pleasure of trying Kitchen Aloha for the first time, and I was very impressed. The food was fresh, delicious, and authentically Japanese. I ordered the udon noodles (Ramen noodles with meat, naruto sliced fish cake, broiled veggie, cooked whole egg, and meat broth soup base) which was cooked perfectly and served with a generous portion of meat. The Undon noodles was flavorful and complex, with a variety of textures and flavors that kept my taste buds entertained. The restaurant has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, so there is something for everyone. Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Kichen Aloha. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Japanese meal.

Favorite spot to stop by on my lunch break! Cute little shop by the City Hall building in SF. Owners and workers are always kind, patient, and welcoming! I’ve tried the spicy tuna bowl *$11 ish dollars* and the seafood poke bowl *$12.50* (honey mayo tempura and scallops). Portions are great and toppings and sauces are hefty. I love this spot and couldn’t recommend them more if you’re looking for a spot that’s delicious and decently priced!

Consistently delicious poke! Not fancy, but always fresh and really fairly priced. I love getting the build-your-own poke bowl, plenty of sauce and flavor without being overwhelming. The spam musubis are all great too (I’ve tried the classic, fried, and spicy). It’s family-owned and operated, which makes me even happier to support them. Perfect for takeout, though I’ll sometimes dine in for lunch (just note there isn’t a ton of seating).

Yay a great sushi place in the area! Their rolls are pretty good, especially for the price. I particularly liked the fried salmon and crab roll.

Also tried their volcano with fried shrimp, which I though was delicious and substantial. Loved the crumbly bits on top! Also there’s bacon in it and an added prawn/shrimp on top! These take longer to cook, so make sure you call your order in!

I did question the musubi though, I think it should have more rice? I’m just not used to the spam to rice ratio being 2:1 lol still yummy though

Staff was super friendly and make sure to call in your order ahead of time so you don’t have to wait! Definitely my sushi go to in civic center.

I go here for lunch every time I’m in the work place and so far I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve tasted! Basically going to try the whole menu 😋

So they have other menu items/specials that aren’t posted yet, so I’ve added pictures. Really good deals!

My go to: California roll(6) and unagi roll (6) special with a side of miso! So filling and so delicious! The miso soup has enoki mushrooms!! And for $7.95? Seriously, it’s awesome.

Katsu rice bowl: great portions for the price, chicken has a nice crisp and love the salad dressing! Comes with yummy katsu and another sauce...sesame? Not sure, but it was yum. Also came with miso soup.

Can’t wait to try everything else on the menu! Friendly staff as always, making a point to know their regulars. Always a pleasure to eat here :)

*also, they can get really busy, especially during lunch! It’s best to call in your order ahead of time. Plus I believe there is a discount...

Nice people. Great sushi, great poke bowl. Large portions and very very reasonable. The restaurant is small and faces the street so I opted for take out and was pleasantly surprised at the large amount of food once I opened it up. I way over ordered, although a few days before I had paid $130 for much much smaller portions than what was given to me at kitchen Aloha. My order here at KA was $35 which included a generous tip. I'm a generous guy what can I say? The couple that owns the restaurant said they have been in that location for 12 years. My order was sushi A la carte and one of the poke bowls from the menu which is fairly extensive (the menu). This is definitely a place you must try...
