I returned tonight on 5/2/22 after several months of staying away. I have always had very pleasant experiences at this upscale establishment. However, tonight was an exception. Not only was the bar tender seemingly unable make a decent cocktail, he also lacked basic hygiene and looked deshelved with his sleeves roll up and talking with food in his mouth. The bartender was eating in between making drinks, and wiping his mouth with his bare hands and then handling ice cubes with his fingers without washing his hands. Not only is this unprofessional and unsavory, it is potentially unhealthy for the patrons. Better training is needed. You should be able to enjoy a fifteen dollar cocktail without weighing the risks if it is going to make you sick or not. I was rather disappointed as this was one of my favorite places in SF to enjoy a relaxing drink amongst other polite patrons.

Pros: - Super helpful staff, my girlfriend is lactose intolerant and I'm vegetarian and the waitress helped us choose and modify the flat bread dish for us to share - Food was amazing, I had the flat bread and curried fries and they were both incredible. The fries were crispy, and the curry flavor was distinct yet subtle. - Drinka were good. I wish I remembeor the names but I can't find it on their website. Mine was ansoixy drink with a habenero tincture and it was actually spicy! Cons: - no signal inside and I didn't find any wifi - drinks we're pretty expensive, each of mine were $13

Fabulous atmosphere, great happy hour specials, tasty food, friendly service. They not only have boulevardiers, they’re on the happy hour menu! I had the meatballs over gruyere mashed potatoes. Delicious. They open at 4pm weekdays with daily happy hour from 4-6, and open Saturday-Sunday for brunch starting at noon. Comfy booths, wood paneling, gorgeous old school bar with backlit extensive whisky selection, beautiful lighting, and taxidermy on the walls. Heated outdoor seating as well.

Outdoor seating during COVID could use some windbreaks to make it more comfortable in the cool months, but the service and food more than make up for the COVID protocols required to allow restaurants like Palmer's to stay open. Decently varied menu. The weiner schnitzel was appropriately flat and large; the beef gnocchi looked delicious and was devoured by its ravenous predator with satisfied sounds being made; and I had the burger with gruyere and bacon, cooked perfectly and accurately to Medium, with a side of curry seasoned fries, whose flavor comes from a dry red curry powder. The burger was delicious, though the gruyere flavor was masked a bit with the greens, tomato, and aioli that were included - I'd recommend they offer a heavily smoked gruyere instead, or choose one of the other cheeses offered. The fries were amazing - I actually love a good red curry ketchup with sweet potato fries, and this was a close second. A bit disappointed that two in our party of four selected separate beers from the list that were out of stock at the time, but it was a COVID-full house on a Tuesday night, they were fairly rare craft brews, and, well, COVID. Definitely...

Great retro neighborhood bar and restaurant in the Fillmore. Definitely a hipster scene with an extensive cocktail menu. Love the old school vibe with shiny red "leather" banquette booths, dark wood paneling and floors, long wooden bar (hooks under the bar for purses) with stuffed animal heads looking down. We experienced Palmer's Brunch menu and ordered their Brunch Burger with yummy curry seasoned fries and Salmon Benedict. The burger is a great value for $13! The highly addictive crunchy coated fries reminded me of eating an Indian Samosa. The hamburger was cooked to perfection (rare - the way I like it!) with a fried gooey egg, applewood smoked bacon, slices of ripe avocados on a soft tasty brioche bun. The pricey Salmon Benedict was pretty to look at, but unfortunately only 4 small, thinly slivers of smoked salmon and very little hash browns. Tasted good, but not worth the $16 price. Service was...

This was the third time I've eaten here. It's very quaint nice lead decorated I think it's very old I like it cuz they serve wienerschnitzel which is not like a hot dog at all it's flat it's pork battered very good. San Francisco now that they have outdoor eating has some great places anybody can go and eat real quick cuz it's not that far or doesn't take that long to go to San Francisco anymore. So if you like you can get food and you don't want to eat before 9:30 you can always head out to the city I needed some great places especially on the weekends they all have outdoor eating they'll have 10 times more seating. And most all restaurants in San Francisco are good because the red is so high they have to be good. This time I went that wasn't as impressed the meat was a tiny bit Sherry but other than that it was excellent I definitely recommend the restaurant. The Pinot noir...
