A classic narrow bookstore. Stopped by here after a casual walk down Filmore on a Saturday night in a crowded city. I am not a book person but everyone else in the family is. I worked at one, but I am bad at reading. I like the atmosphere of bookstores. Makes me feel smart to be in one or to be seen in one. What's nice about this one is how cozy it is. In addition, you can feel how well run it is. Details such as the "Blind Date" books are fun. My only real complaint... their graphic novel section is really small and does not contain any mainstream graphic novels from DC or Marvel. Seems kind of elite-ish for my taste. I won't ding them...
