My boyfriend and I decided to grab a bite here to eat since we had a pretty good experience eating here last time back in 2019. Guess those days are over for this place. Not sure if the young lady we had was new, but the service we received was honestly terrible. After taking our drink order, it took so long to not only get said drinks (it wasn’t even that busy mind you), but to put an order in for our food. Luckily the food didn’t take half as long to come out. However, once we received our food, unfortunately both orders were incorrect. I had asked for a half pound of an angus beef burger and caramelized onions and received a full pound burger without onions. My boyfriend asked for no cheese on his burger and was given a burger with cheese! As he is lactose intolerant, he obviously cannot have cheese so we had our orders sent back immediately and they were corrected. They added the onions on my burger and just scrapped the cheese off of his burger instead of giving him a new one. Our waitress didn’t seem to care that the orders were incorrect after mentioning it and never checked in with us to see how everything was. The burgers were mediocre aside from the sweet potato fries and onion rings we had. But honestly I feel like I could have gotten a better burger at the Burger King down the road. The only thing that saved this place was their delicious onion rings, fries and drinks. The strawberry margarita was really good and for only $7, you can’t beat that. If I even decided to give this place my business again, it would be just solely for the drinks. Do yourself a favor and just get a whopper at...
Read more2 stars only because the environment was a comfortable setting. I dislike giving negative reviews but I think people should know that this place is a tourist trap that is overpriced and mediocre food. My girlfriend and I ordered chicken wings as an appetizer and two personal pizzas with 2 toppings each. Each topping was 95 cents which I thought was a bit high but felt it may be worth while. To my disappointment these pizzas tasted as basic as can be. I think I would’ve been happier with a frozen Digiornos from the grocery store for substantially less. I was disappointed to see that the 95 cent ham was barely sprinkled onto only one slice. They also forgot to bring the wings as the appetizer and then mentioned they thought they had run out of wings, but found out there were some. I was a bit bothered that they didn’t even mention it until we already were halfway through our pizzas. The wings were also tiny and mediocre. Definitely not worth $9.99. In the end, with 3 cocktails, 2 basic pizzas and 6 wings, we paid $62. One of the most overrated and disappointing eating experiences I’ve had. We came here because the vibe was nice, it was nearby and we were just hungry. But I’m posting this to warn others that this is going to be a rip off of an experience. I think you’d be better off getting groceries and making this kind of food yourself, it would taste better with a much more digestible price. Tourist trap 100%....
Read moreI really had high hopes for this place as everyone told me it was great and I always walked by it. Went in to get a burger to go. The bartender was nice but you could tell she was extremely busy. She def forgot about my order as I had to wait 45+ min. They charge per ingredient in a list-like menu. So yeah I was very upset when I got home and my burger that was almost $20 was missing half the ingredients and the bun was gross, soggy and wet like a used sponge. I went back to change it and they did very quickly and had no issue doing it. (Service was good). Again the bartender was very nice about it. I had my new burger in 5 minutes and they apologized and fixed it very quickly... But the burger was STILL missing ingredients! If you're gonna charge $.99 x sauce, $1.99 x topping, I would ensure they're all there. Also the burger was completely lack luster, no flavor at all to that patty and had to put it in a pan to heat it up once home as it was super cold. As if it had been in the fridge all day. (I live 3 min walk away). The service was good but you can tell the Place just needs to get it together, for Ashford standards and the prices they charge, that is just not acceptable. Honestly a Burger King burger would've had more flavor and been more satisfying. Good for drinks and hang but not worth the price. Maybe dining in would be a dif...
