The House Wine, Beer & More - Condado — Restaurant in San Juan

I walked into this place for the first time when I was vacationing in Puerto Rico and was impressed! First off, they were on the upper level of a grocery store and as we approached the doors of this business , there was security present. Friendly, smiled as we passed but vigilant. Upon entering, The House at first glance was very well lit, neat, organized and well stocked. The employees smiled as we entered, were knowledgeable and very helpful. I enjoyed walking the aisles and seeing what this store had to offer. I wanted a few gifts of an item that was not available for purchase in our area of Ohio and TN. We were not disappointed! We picked this place because it was relatively close to the airport and it looked like it had a wide selection. Both were true. We needed a wide range of booze for a party, and this place has a lot of stuff. I can't speak about the prices since I don't live in PR , so I don't have anything to compare it to. But they have wines from all over the world, arranged by country/region, plus lots of beer and liquor. The place was clean and the employees were helpful. It's a little hard to find in that it sits atop a SuperMax grocery store. If you will buy liquor for a wedding think it twice to buy it here. They were expensive that other places and you need to be seer to know the exact nunber of bottles that will be open because they don’t accept returns. I bought 70 bottles for my daugthers weeding from which 39 doesn’t get opened so I call 36 hrs after they were delivered and they refuse to take them back. So now I have to sell the bottles by myself or give them away. So...
