This place is a joke. Don't waste your time driving here. I've gone here twice at a late hour. One time we stood in line for at least 10-15 minutes to be told they weren't taking anymore orders. And it was about 45 minutes until closing. The second time they decided to close early. The supervisors are rude, instead of taking care their customers they'd rather be talking to each other. I stopped going to this place not worth wasting my gas.
July 13 2023 Knowing that this place has the worst customer service. I still went to get tacos which I didn't even get because the cashier/supervisor was busy on her phone and doing whatever she was doing in the back. First of all nobody was in front to help customers. The fryer guy had to go call the lady after standing there for couple minutes. There was a man waiting to tell someone the soda machine wasn't working. When the the lady came up to the front she didn't acknowledge any of us standing there (myself and two others) waiting. She went to the side to grab the bag and put one item in it then grabbed her phone. When she walked by again the guy told her about the soda machine. When she asked him what kind of soda he wanted she got his cup to fill it. The guy didn't say anything but I would have, when grabbing the cup she placed her finger inside the cup. Who wants someone else's fingers inside their cup. Not me. After that she went to the back again. Two more customers came inside. I left to go to Taco Bell because I wasn't going to waist my...
Read moreI am a huge JB fan, just not so much of this particular store. I've recently moved back to California after 8yrs of living in states that do not have any JB's so I'm catching up on the missed years of late night JB lol. I never cared much for this store even before I moved away. Mainly it's the atmosphere. Seems unusually dark in there all the time and most of the employees speak English as a second language and it's often frustrating placing just a simple single person order. Well... 8yrs later and nothing has changed accept for the quality of the food!! đ I'd say that's a huge one. Every time I go in there, it seems as though something is basically burnt. Cooked too long and not in any condition to eat or either it's been sitting in hold so long that it has dried out past eating condition. I live in one city and work in SLO, which is where this store is located and also 30 miles from my home. I pick up my food to go on my way out and once I get down the road and start eating this is when I realize how terrible the quality is. Don't bother calling because the phone NEVER gets answered, no matter the time f day that you try calling. I'd just like to see management tighten up a little and try to get this store into some type of shape. Lots of folks love Jack's but unfortunately, you guys are offering a not so great version of what...
Read moreThis has been one of only a few places to get late night hot food in downtown SLO nearly 24 /7. The location is high in auto traffic and some pedestrian & bike customers. It is across Santa Rosa St. from a busy Taco Bell, Breakfast Buzz Cafe, Mr. Pickles', and a spread of just off-freeway motels. All these straddle the 101 South & North on-ramps between The Higuerra/Marsh Streets downtown shopping area and the Foothill/Cal Poly aimed business zone and seconds walk from Santa Rosa Sport/Skate Park, one very popular park for sure! I find fast food to be generally similarly uninspiring semi-nutritious repeating of similar flavors of competing belly stuffers corporations hammer out like clockwork, so the food is acceptable, but never really overwhelms me at any of their competitors' places either. They have always been run well with friendly staff & clean looking facilities. I have been bummed they have closed their restrooms to customers in Covid-19 times unlike the Jack in the Box across from them, but at least I know where I'm eating if I already need restroom facilities in this area of town (Jack's â Boxđđ¤ˇââď¸). These two spots dominate the on/off- ramps right there & both are well...
