The Boba Stop — Restaurant in San Luis Obispo

I’ve been going to the boba stop ever since I’ve moved to the US for the past 7 years. Lately I go every 2 weeks. It is the best boba by far especially vs sweetie cup (they put so much extra syrup it tastes artificial) but tonight I went to order tea + food for me and my friends and got extremely bad customer service. I ordered 1 Thai tea snow bubble with boba , milk tea with boba, popcorn chicken and Nutella strawberry crepe. The woman took my order and read it back to me. She had one headphone in one ear. When I got my order let her know nicely that I didn’t ask for strawberry popping boba, and she said no. And looked angry. Then she shows me an order in the computer that says milk tea with boba. No where did it says strawberry and she was still angry at me. I told her she doesn’t have to remake it she can just use the strainer to remove the popping boba (that I hate) . She proceeds to violently toss my drink in the trash. And give me no eye contact. I was hesitant of making this review because I’ve never had a bad interaction at the boba stop before until today. Even as I waited for my order a guy placed an order on the computer and said “hey I placed an order but didn’t get a receipt, I didn’t know if I needed to hand it to you” and she just held the receipt to show him with no smile , no words, just looked annoyed like using her voice would be too much work. She needs to cool it with her temper. I will not stop going because of this experience but I just thought the owners...

I had my sister and cousin who came to visit from Alaska went to this place for boba and lady who claims to be the manager says the machine is broken while I know a friend of mine has gone to get there order right before they arrived and so they went to boba the next day and saw a line of people so for sure the machine must be working but then instead this time she refused to take there order do to some conflict outside the boba store that happened at Firestone with her son in slo and my little brother which my sister had nothing to do with and she’s been going for years till now that the lady decides to refuse her order because our little brother and the managers son dislike each other. That’s bad for the business makes and I feel like that should be a problem outside of the business not just cause she works there and decides she doesn’t like us so she won’t take our order, I understand if something happened inside the business would be a reason for her to refuse service to us but she’s just making the place look bad come on boba stop have better employees that can and know when to keep there problems outside the business. Also the place has no sign that says they’re allowed to refuse service my sister took a video of the place where no sign was to be found and that “manager” just has some issues that she doesn’t know...

Boba stop has an standard selection of teas and add-ons. I have been to places that rival Boba Stop in flavor and in price. However, those places are not in San Luis Obispo. I like this place mostly because it is close to the Cal Poly campus.

The store itself is rather small. I haven't been to the place while it is busy, but I imagine it could get pretty cramped in there. The atmosphere is acceptable. There are some tables and chairs for you to sit at while you wait.

The drinks here are on the border of acceptable and good. I've brought friends here and they say "its okay". Other than the drinks, there are crepes and other snacks. I've only tried one of the crepes and...
