PSA: This is absolutely not a breakfast burrito spot. I ordered a bacon and egg burrito and added avocado on a Sunday morning. Picked it up and brought it home….no avocado, which I had paid for. ($31 for 2 burritos and a soda). There was a watery green salsa and when I called back to tell her the avo was missing from both, she said “let me ask the cooks…. they added guac”. Ok 1) I didn’t ask for guac, and you need to specify that when someone adds avocado. And 2) There was also nothing resembling avocado there. I ended up bringing this “bacon” to their attention because it looked and tasted like chopped up spam (pictured). When I went back, the owner said, “yeah it’s turkey bacon”. What!! You need to specify what kind of bacon is in your burrito if it’s not bacon. It was so salty and bad. The egg was also the folded rubbery kind of egg you get in a fast food breakfast sandwich. It was 90% rice and spam. Just a travesty all around. The owner was kind enough to refund my entire purchase, so this is just so others know. I’d go back and get tacos or enchiladas, but never ever a breakfast burrito from here again!!! Positives: friendly staff, huge burrito, clean environment. Owners: please fix these ingredients or train your staff to tell customers what your “avocado” and “bacon” are! This should be taken...

Review of the breakfast food here only. We came here to grab some tasty mexican food for breakfast on a lazy sunday and were simply underwhelmed at what came out. I had the huevos rancheros, my wife had a burrito with bacon and my friends had a veggie burrito. We also ordered a side of chips and salsa.

My dish was meh. The flavors were all but non-existent. Just tasted like mushy...food. No real flavor from the eggs, beans or rice not to mention the sauce that was on the eggs. It was edible...but not what I would call good food.

My wife's bacon burrito came with bacon that was mushy. You know what I'm talking about. The undercooked..."is this even cooked" bacon that leaves you not just meh about the food but wondering if it's even edible. Yeah, so that didn't go over well.

Aside from that, the chips were super thin and kept breaking off in the salsa and food but had solid flavor to them and the salsa was fine. Nothing amazing but had the most flavor of anything else on the table.

I'll come back for lunch or dinner but definitely not...

I used to love this place when I lived closer, and I love the one they have in Santa Maria. Their food is actually really good and I would’ve given them more stars…However my husband drove across town to pick up food for a large group of us and asked twice to ensure there was no sour cream in my burrito and it was smothered and sour cream. No way was I going to send him across town again to pick up another burrito. Really a bummer and totally made it so I did not have a meal because there’s really no way you can get all the sour cream out of a burrito when it is smothered all over inside. Aside from this I would’ve rated them much higher because I do like their food but this was a...

Authentic no frills Mexican restaurant, conveniently located off HWY 1 and the 101 in SLO. Fair prices, fresh ingredients, authentic taste and large portions. Our family ordered the daily special fish burrito, al pastor burrito, chicken tacos, rice/beans, and chips & salsa. Everything was excellent and would order again! The burritos were very large, and could easily be shared, with good amount of meat. We also sampled 3 of their salsas, which were all great as well. There are several booths inside to eat, and a larger patio adjacent to the road. Parking lot was small but adequate, and there is a tiny bathroom outside as well.

Delicious Pastor tacos. I ordered 3 but was like having 4 because of all the meat in one taco. They serve their tacos with two tortillas so you can separate one to the side to make an entire taco with what's fallen out while eating the others 😁 The chips are thin, light, and crispy. Patio seating and inside tables available. It doesn't look like much but I highly suggest it. Shares parking lot with Jack in the box so there's room if you have a small-medium trailer. The two exits to the parking lot which is really nice for the location!!!!
