Arby's — Restaurant in Savannah

We went to this location for the first time today. The food, as always, was delicious! The problem today was the smells. They had cleaned every area of the dining room and restroom with the strongest, most obnoxious cleaner! We ordered, I used the ladies' room and I waited in the car. It was giving me a headache. Unfortunately, we ate in our car. In the parking lot. Looking at the building. The paper bags smelled so strongly of the cleanser that my husband had to take all our paper waste back inside to dispose of them after we ate. Our clothing even had the tiniest bit of smell for a few minutes - open windows took care of that. The employees were pleasant, and again, the food was wonderful. I'm sorry we didn't get to eat indoors, though. We'll probably not go to this...

I went to order food and was trying to get the brown sugar bacon BLT. For one Jeremy was slick at the mouth and had me pick one of the sandwiches of the 3 they offer for brown sugar bacon knowing that they were out of Hawaiian bread. He asked would sesame seed be okay for a substitution and I laughed and said yes. He replied “ I don’t see what is so funny” I told him I wasn’t laughing at him but at the person in my car. The sandwich they provided was absolutely disgusting looking, it was more shredded lettuce than it was anything else. He didn’t even use the proper sauce that comes on that sandwich but used mayo instead. The whole experience and food was a nightmare. Me and my sister went through the drive thru last night and ordered the 2 for 7. I got beef n cheddar and she got fish. Both of the sandwiches were cold to the touch even though we had to wait 15 minutes at the window. Between us and the ONE car in line behind us, the restaurant was dead as a door nail, and it was only 9:30pm! My beef n cheddar had absolutely only two tiny slices of beef on it, gobs of cold Arby's sauce, and soggy cold bread from it sitting obviously for hours pre made.
