Absolutely awesome and exactly what we needed at the moment. A close knit neighborhood bar that treats everyone like a local or family. Sylvia the bartender was a gift- made good drinks, great conversationalist, read the customer well. We had just lost our cat having just left vet and wanted to tuck in somewhere close to home for a moment to catch our breaths. We couldn't have found a more perfect place and respite. We now know our Saturday date afternoon spot. Even privatized outdoor space and free pool. As an aside... We're both reformed service industry and she made a mixed drink actually properly and ghuushed in just the right way. Chefs kiss on mixology. Had good local family feel.. of downtown atmosphere without ALL the baggage and little more established finish a local establishment...

People of all races, backgrounds, and nationalities DONOT PATRONIZE THIS BAR. The owner of this bar is a RACIST. I HAVE HAD BARTENDERS THAT WORKED FOR HER WHO ARE WHITE CONFIRM THIS. Progressive minded people go elsewhere. She tries to hide her racist persona by having open minded bartenders . Doesn't matter. Ownership doesn't respect the minority dollar . People wake up. If a business can accept your money; they should respect u as a person . The owner of this bar has no respect for minorities . Just more money in her coffers. Sad in 2018. Excellent family run restaurant four generations are still involved. Went there with my husband and grandchildren. We enjoyed fried green tomatoes, lobster sandwiches, mussels, egg salad sandwich, salads, And a cobbler. Everything was delicious atmosphere was delightful.
