This bar consists of an atmosphere filled with laughter and happiness. The staff is super sweet and personable, even including the door guys which you don’t see too often. Everyone here has great senses of both personality and humor and want to do nothing but show you a good time as soon as soon as you walk in the door. The type of place that you show up in a bad mood, and leave in a good one. The drinks are always awesome, and if you don’t know what you’re feeling, the bartenders here do a great job of figuring it out for ya. This place has two modes. Chill mode and “lit” mode. Both can be experienced any day or night of the week at anytime. You never really know what you’re going to experience here; needless to say, both are extremely entertaining and enjoyable. There’s a patio out back that is the perfect chill spot for some fresh air and there’s also some extra space to be found inside upstairs with the same vibe as the downstairs level. Just around the corner from the hustle and bustle that is Congress street. My eyes lock on a little brick building, Rogue Water. Outside was a masterpiece on a canvas every bar goer loves, a chalkboard. It was alluring yet simple: BUY ONE GET ONE FOR A DOLLAR. I felt my heart flutter as I took a turn. This dimly lit bar feels like magic. As I step in greeted by a bearded man with flowing hair in a stylish braid. He gives me not only one but two shots. We chit chat as if we’ve known each other for 50 years . Tyler’s outstanding service kept me there beyond happy hour. Before I know it, the bar is closing. I call an Uber home but realize I’m not home at all. As I awake I hope this was not all a strange dream, but it wasn’t. I had found my home... it was Rogue...
