Went to Vic’s for a warm drink to enjoy our cold walk for our first experience in Savannah Georgia. I ordered a chai latte. My husband was stopped in his tracks by the smell of freshly baked cookies. He approached the counter as an after thought, and pointed to the cookie tray and asked for one of the fresh cookies. The women who was guarding the tray pointed to the already wrapped cookies and said “they are over there”. My husband said, I’d really love one straight from the oven. She very angrily bagged one up, handed it to him abruptly, walked over to her counter seething, glaring, and pushing the cookie tray out of sight, obscuring from view with a box. The rudeness was unnecessary! Otherwise, as said, quaint little shop, good products and...
Read moreVic’s Coffee Bar is located at 15 River Street, right at the river, in Savannah. An excellent coffee bar that offers a variety of options. The coffeehouse has great coffee drinks, quick bites, and a variety of alcoholic beverages. Vic’s is in a beautiful old cotton warehouse, which offers even more atmosphere. We stopped by while waiting for our table at the restaurant next door. It has indoor seating, standing bar along in the front, and you can experience the River Street atmosphere right outside. Vic’s also has a nice selection of beers and wines. The pastries are delicious, and the coffees and lattes very good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My score...
