Went on 12/24/18 got there at 4:40pm after waiting for 20 minutes in a line that only moved once the etire time someone came out to announce that anyone in line who had not called in to place an order ahead of time WOULD NOT BE GETTING SERVED AT ALL!!!!!!! The person said they would be closing IN A HOUR and would not be taking anymore orders that they could only finish the call in orders and that was it. I get that it was Christmas Eve and they were closing early at 6pm but we got there at 4:40pm an hour and twenty minutes before the early closing time. We saw the long line and we were prepared to have to wait quite a while in order to get our food which was fine with us we were just excited to try them out. How nice of them to take and make all the call in orders for people not even willing to wait in there long line and instead tell the people that already waited 20 minutes in there line to go screw off. They could have at least taken the orders of the people that were in line and had already been waiting and just not let any new customers get in line. Had they posted a sign saying they would not be able to accommodate anymore orders for the night when we arrived we would not have wasted our time waiting in line or maybe they should have sent that person out earlier to announce no other orders would be taken!!!! That's OK though we gave our business to a restaurant making fresh street tacos just around the corner and they were...

I flew in from Tampa on a business trip.Julios Too came highly recommended from my colleague. We went for lunch on Tuesday, I ordered the chimichanga , it was to die for. We decided to dine in two days later on thursday. Somehow the price went up $5 more.Ordering the same thing on Thursday for lunch. After my meal, I was wondering why the price changed two days later. I confronted the cashier who was kind of being rude asking me if I left him a tip .He clearly knew I didn't while I was paying for my meal he was very Impatient. He grabbed my credit card out of my hand and card reader before.I even had a chance to get in the tip and put my credit card through. Then when I confronted him he was helpful in a rude manner asking me if I possibly left him a tip.I very Insulted on my way this man. Making me feel like I was at fault when he overcharged me 2 sodas. There's plenty of other taco restaurants in the Phoenix area next time.I come back to Phoenix.I will...

Julio's Too is a must-have stop if you are looking for authentic Mexican food cooked to order. Located near Old Town Scottsdale, you won't find a better place to eat that won't empty your wallet. The build-your-own burrito is jam-packed with meat and veggies, beans, rice - whatever you want to put in it. And if you don't opt for sour cream or guacamole, your burrito comes in under $10. The inside is small, but the patio is large and a nice place to eat. The best part is the service. Juilio's is run by generations of the same family and others who care about the food you eat and the service you receive. Locals are remembered by name, and strangers greeted like old friends. As I mentioned before, your food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait, especially during the dinner rush. Don't get butt-hurt that it takes an extra 10 minutes to make your food. It will be worth the...

Parking tips: Be patient when you drive up to park — small lot could be full or a maybe a few spots to find. You never know! Lunch specials (11am -4 pm)are great. I had the Lunch D. - LUNCH POLLO MAGNIFICO, below. On one visit I had shredded beef, this time chicken). Both were very good! Comes with rice and beans, for about $14. Excellent fresh chips and mild salsa, in mini cups. It comes with jalapeño cream cheese, but I asked for extra. That’s the best part! YUM! 😋Dining outside was very pleasant in April weather in the 80 degree temperature. They bring your order to your table outside. Great service. Steve, the head cashier, is very polite, welcoming, and remembered me (and my order!) on my second visit! I’ll be back sometime soon!

After reading the reviews decided to have lunch here on a Friday. Guy behind the counter was nice. They have a decent selection of bottled Mexican sodas. It was very busy, but our food still came out very quickly. I had an enchilada style red chile burrito with beans and rice. My gf had the nachos. I thought the burrito was good and she enjoyed her nachos. Nothing too memorable. Cost was about 20 bucks with sodas. Definitely better than Filibertos but for the same price I have had better. Also food is served on paper plates, chips and salsa and drinks are also self serve.

This place is amazing! The chips and fresh salsa were amazing and tasted as if they just came out. I order the Pollo Magnifico, because our cashier recommended it and I am so glad I did! I literally died of happiness. This is the best Mexican I have ever had in my life. The Pollo Magnifico was cooked perfectly with just enough spice to keep it interesting. I don't like super spicy foods, so this was perfect for me. The cheese and jalapeño sour cream was to die for. I would visit Scottsdale again just to have that. If you are in the area this is a must stop.
