I want to start off by saying I do like the food, it's just too bad their pricing is all over the place. Directly next to the cash register is a laminated sign that advertises "Asada Fries Burrito" (see attached) for $8.99 that "includes free soda" Except when you order the exact Asada Fries Burrito you get charged $9.49 and then when you ask for the soda they charge you an additional $2.70. So, their $8.99 deal is actually $12.19, WHICH IS 35% OVER THEIR ADVERTISED PRICE. I have brought this up with them the last three times I've been in there but no on ever corrects it. Additionally, if you look at their printed menu it shows that same Asada Fries Burrito as costing $8.49. Good luck getting charged what their advertised prices are because it's all SMOKE AND MIRRORS! I like your food! Why did you have to go and screw me over??? UPDATE - They got the price of the Asada Fries Burrito corrected and now are $10.49 without a drink. BUT, GET THIS, IF YOU ASK FOR EXTRA GUACAMOLE THEY CHARGE YOU AN ADDITIONAL $9.00 AND IF YOU ASK FOR EXTRA SOUR CREAM THEY CHARGE YOU AN ADDITIONAL $6.00. HOW IS IT THAT A BURRITO THAT COMES WITH GUAC AND SOUR CREAM COSTS $10.49 AND ADDING EXTRA GUAC AND SOUR CREAM COST $15.00? This place reeks of mismanagement. Get your act together so I can change my review please!

Update: outside is crawling w drug users. Didn't feel safe walking in. Ordered 2 burritos n the carne fries to go. I get home and open my fries to find meat on top of fries. That's it. Nothing else in the container. I take two bites from my burrito... Open it... To find they took some fries and meat and wrapped them in a tortilla. That's it... Nothing else inside... Just meat and fries. Their food used to be hella... Now I'll drive the hour to California burrito instead. ------------------------------------- They have really good burritos. Their enchiladas aren't great. Their horchata is terrible. But the staff is great. The place is clean. Seriously tho... Their burritos are amazing.

Not exactly authentic, but the pricing - while occasionally inconsistent - usually ends up fair. The food is a bit better than the service, and the area has virtually no Mexican options, so you’re pretty much stuck with this. Could be better, could be worse. A warning - don’t use apps like UberEats. The menu items apparently don’t show up correctly in the app for the chefs, per what they told me, so they mess these orders up a lot more. Also, on a side note, if you order carne asada tacos, they apparently come without any vegetables. So that’s a bit of a bummer.

1st I'd like to say this is not a post about the restaurant itself. This is about The character of the people who run this restaurant . I was in a cash-and-carry on Tuesday September 11th picking up a few items, What I noticed all the handicap spots were taken Which is strange because generally they are not. Being a handicapped person it is important to me to be able to enter and exit the store with as few steps as possible. As I walked by the cars parked in the handicap spot the 1st one had the appropriate placard to be park to their. When I approach the 2nd Vehicle a newer model Chevy Silverado black pick up truck There was neither the appropriate license plate for handicap parking or the appropriate placard posted. Then I saw a Hispanic gentleman and what Appeared to be his wife come out of the store and start to load up the truck. I approach and said scuse me that's handicap parking. She gave me a blank look like she had no idea what I was saying, he said yeah I have a tag. I proceed to look around the vehicle and did not see a tag Posted and he looked at me and said what do you wanna see it? I said yeah actually I would like to see it. This is a spot for handicapped people and it looks to me like you're just trying to park as close to the door as you can to load your products. He rolled his eyes and said sure thing they both hopped in their vehicle he started it up and proceed to pull out. Never flashing or showing me the handicap identification. I'm not the parking police but I am a handicapped man Who finds it extremely difficult to walk from one end of a parking lot to the front of a store. Seems to me like these aren't the type of people I as part of the handicaps community would want to be giving my money to regardless of the taste of their food their character speaks volumes to how little they care for...

If you know, you know. Memo's caters to college students, especially those up studying late at night. Three stars is for being an average spot, not disappointing and not amazing either. Being 24 hours, Memo's is one of the best locations for late night cravings and munchies. There are some other good places for late night snacks and meals, but they aren't entirely 24 hours so Memo's has them beat with flexibility.

Alright, it's not the healthiest food nor is it the most authentic, but they don't generally claim to be. Probably not the cleanest either, but you gotta do what you gotta do when it's past midnight. It's important to keep this in mind though for personal purposes and personal expectations. I've heard this location in particular is better than others (Tacoma) so that's a good sign as well. You get solid quantities of food for the prices, so value is up there. Eat in moderation and you likely won't encounter any problems.

Carne Asada Fries is one of my favorites, good bang for your buck. Loaded with cheese, guac, and carne asada, you'll possibly have leftovers for another meal or the next day. Fries aren't really the best alone, but that's why they have friends in the toppings. Because I'm able to manage my expectations, I don't have disappointing experiences here.

I lean more above 3 (3.5ish) due to the fact that Memo's really understands its audience in college students and accommodates them by having 24 hour service and large portions. However, I can't quite justify rounding up because there are extremely strong competitors around the Ave for amazing food choices, just not...

This review is for the U-District location.

I am giving a low rating because I have tried to reach out but I get ignored, and most cashier's move onto the next customer. šŸ˜”

My issues are- Inconsistent pricing, knowledge of order, and quality. I know these are hard times, and there are a lot of desperate humans about outside. I hope that your management is paying you fairly.

I've been overcharged more than once in the last month for ordering the same item- same way every time.

Pricing- the vegan burrito I order with extra guacamole comes to $9 tops most days, other days I am charged $11-12.

Quality- Sometimes I get a toasty tortilla, sometimes it's gummy or overly chewy/stale.

Knowledge of order- The cooks need to be very careful about allergens/food sensitivity orders. I am lactose intolerant, and typically order a vegan burrito every time I visit. I have been told to order vegan, and not request a veggie without cheese, and have been corrected even though 'vegan' is not on the menu. I have multiple times gotten either sour cream, or cheese added and it has made me sick, even though I clarified I didn't want any dairy. I also find it tedious to open up a burrito every time I order, to check before eating. Most of the time I want Memos, it's because they're fast, and tasty.

Memos, you can do better. You're making it hard for me to enjoy my food, and recommend you to...
