Born in So Cal, I have been here in WA for almost 2years. L.A. has a huge Persian population and the foodie in me frequented the restaurants often. My tastebuds fell in love with the food. Reyhoon Grill is the first Mediterranean/Persian restaurant I have been to here in WA. A small hole in the wall with a lacking visibility from the street, I was fortunate to find this place. The reviews from Yel*, the place is hit or miss. Personally, if you have never been here, GET HERE!
Fantastic service, friendly and open Owner who made a dish special for me that was not on the menu. The food, the food! OMG! The food is fantastic and comparable to the more expensive establishments that I have been to. What Reyhoon lacks in decor and atmosphere, they more than make up for it with the flavors of a family meal cooked in the kitchen of granny. What wonderful combination of tastes in the barg and koobideh, the explosion of flavors in the tadig. This is Persian comfort food is a definite do again! Read moreMy first visit at Reyhoon Grill will not be my last. My wife read about someone's good experience on Facebook so we thought we'd give it a try. We dropped in and tried a few different items and everything was great - especially the eggplant - Excellent. The lamb, beef and chicken were cooked to perfection and the spices were just right. More good news - the portions were generous. We took half the food home and I had the leftovers today - Yum! Well be back soon to try a few other delicacies...
