Bagel Bin 2 — Restaurant in Sonora

I was disappointed again. I went here when my kids were little and the coffee was bad so I stopped going. Today I went in to try them at their new spot. The owner was working the counter. I asked for a breakfast sausage and cheese sandwich with some veggies thrown on. 3.25 listed for a price. He said your want a veggie with sausage and egg... And I was like yeah... But only butter not the cheese. He charged me 4.25 for a veggie sandwich with no cheese and then added 3.00 on fire the cost of the sausage and egg. He literally charged me 7.25 for a breakfast sandwich with some veggies. You could argue he charged me 3 bucks for veggies... Either way, he literally created the most expensive up sale he could get. And again, I am highly disappointed and have made the same decision I made years ago. It's not worth it, the coffee is mediocre, and the owner charges every cent he can get while being dismissive. Not a fan. Bagel is pretty decent though. Rest of the food is normal cheap microwaved breakfast fare. Veggies are decent. Oh... And he got the order wrong for two sandwiches. My husband ordered bacon with cheese and cream cheese and. He got a sausage and egg sandwich. I...

Would leave 0 stars if possible. When I told the man at the counter I wanted 7 bagels to go, his first response was “Did you call ahead?” What? I’m not getting a two dozen, or even one dozen!

I then said no. He next barked “Are you from out of town?” Wait - what does that matter? But I was a tourist, so I replied yes. He then asked if I was getting all the same kind, and I said no, a mix. I then asked for 3 sesame, which happened to be all that was left in the case. Are you ready for this? He said “no, I can’t sell you all of them, other people might need them for their orders.” What?

So we picked some others and then paid. He never rang me up on the check stand, but just asked for my credit card. I gave it to him, and he soon handed it back and said “you’re good to go.” Since I hadn’t seen anything rang up, I asked for a receipt. He then seriously said “You’re being high maintenance!” And then handed me the receipt.

I love to support local businesses when I travel. But this business was horrible to us tourists. And on top of it all, the bagels were NOT good. None. Not the sesame, poppy, jalapeño or everything. Will absolutely not...

55 cent card fee. My second time trying to go here. Both times I felt very unwelcome. The gal trying to take my order kept interrupting me and telling me what menu items are and what she had left. She was snapping on me like they close in 5 minutes, when there was an hour and a half left. While trying to give her ingredients I wanted, I probably told her three times I wanted avocado on my sandwich. She informed me about the charges for bacon, but my sandwich didn't have any Avocado. She seems so aggravated that I was there and fighting with the register. I wanted to order a drink and hang out but she had made me so uncomfortable about ingredients and time and fees. There were approximately three or four workers but there was no one in the store to serve.
