This was my first time eating lunch here as part of the Dyar Family Reunion! We all gathered to the backroom which was closed off for some privacy. We had 41 Guest to arrive. We had two diff waitresses that took half of our guest and the other server took the rest of everyone. Our lovely Server was Danielle S. She was such an sweetheart. She took great care of us all. She stayed calm and smiled. She was very knowledgeable about the menu & helping us all to decide on what to order. All adult plates are served with a meat and two sides. You can add a extra meat for $6.95! Great price 👍! We all had a great experience & will return next year to have our Family Reunion! We did call ahead and put in our request to book their back room. It's perfect to host any Family Reunion events, birthday party celebration. We will definitely return. I want to give a special shout out to our server Ms. Danielle for her services! We Hope to see u again soon. You worked hard to take care of us all.. 41 guest's. We decided to leave you a $60 tip from our 8 top of people in the back left hand corner against the wall and booth.. You definitely worked for it & you deserves it. I admit I was a little needy asking for more ranch & lemons , togo boxes she didn't mind bringing me exactly what I needed so I could enjoy my meal. She kept our drinks full.. she was on top of her game. I ordered The Fried Popcorn Shrimp 🍤 with seasoned fries (wished I asked for more seasoning on the fries, didn't knowit came with seasoning) and a side garden salad 🥗 with bacon & ranch dressing.( Ranch dressing was so delicious btw) It was absolutely delicious. They were out of the steak fries but I was okay with it.. The Food portions are big. They are big enough for two. I had to get a to go box. My son ordered from the kids meal which was the hamburger 🍔 with ketchup only & seasoned fries. My husband had the Half rack of ribs, loaded bake 🥔 potato with a garden salad🥗/ranch dressing. He really enjoyed his meal. He cleaned his plate. My granny ordered just a sweet baked 🍠 potato with butter & cinnamon. She doesn't eat much. A family 3 people ordered the baked salmon, baked🍠sweet potatoe and 🥦. They all enjoyed their meals and cleaned their plates. That should tell you how great the food is here. My granny's sister in law ordered the Mesquite grilled chicken with a loaded baked 🥔 potato, no extra side item. Everyone was sitted comfortably and satisfied with everything. Food came out fresh, hot and service was fantastic. Great Job Carson's! I see why u have great reviews. We appreciate ur services! You are guaranteed to have a great experience eating at Carson's steakhouse at the Anderson location. You are greeted as you walk through the double doors. The Prices are reasonably low for the amount of food you receive. Make sure you come with a big appetite 😋 because you are going to need it & a nap afterwards 😆...I really wanted to order a 6oz steak but I was really wanted to the fried popcorn Shrimp 🍤 with lemon on the side 🍋..It was really good and it wasn't greasy like most restaurants serve. The inside is really Beautiful, I love the deer ,country theme. You can tell its a real steakhouse! The restaurant is really big. We did visit their Restrooms 🚻 . They were super clean, well organized and they have a His and her separate restrooms. We did arrive at 11am right when they opened for business. You can really tell the staff & the owner/Manager of this restaurant really care about their business and their customer's. You will find that out within seconds after entering. I have drove by this steakhouse for many years and thought about stopping by to dine in but saw the parking lot was so full and people standing outside waiting to enter. We decided to go to Apple 🍎 Bee's again instead which is always a big mistake & waste of $. Service and food is terrible! We have now found our favorite steakhouse and that's Carson's steak house! I highly recommend. I can't stay enough great things about this place. Thanks for allowing me to leave...
Read moreGosh! This use to be the best place. But twice now we have eaten here and have had bad food. First time the chicken fingers (which was our favorite) was cooked in bad/rancid grease. So very sad! Love them on their salad but we were afraid to eat them. Just returned from a second dinner trip. Party of three, sat in a corner booth. For starters my menu appeared as though someone had spit all over it. That should have been my first clue to leave. The booth had torn vinyl seats that were split open, exposing filthy stuffing. After ordering I noticed that there was some type of unknown dripping item hardened on the wall. Must have been there forever. As it was brown with age. I ordered the sirloin tips well done. They arrived cold with a baked potatoe that had a rotted center.(I scraped it out, Ewww!) Salad was served with lettuce and grated cheese (no onion, no cucumber, no tomato,). Just lettuce, with brown edges and cheese to cover it up. The second party ordered steak med-rare. It was so over cooked she couldn’t eat it. Sent it back and the second piece was raw. Afraid to send it back again it was taken home to complete the cooking. Third dinner of the famous chicken fingers was good this time. But just the onion rings were soaked in grease. Almost had to scrape the greasy film off them. Nothing crispy about them! This restaurant use to be packed and a big hot spot for Friday nights. But, I’m so very sorry to report that it has really slipped. The decor was so cute with a locomotive running on tracks near the ceiling. The western motif was fun and stone fireplace was warm and inviting. Now, the walls need thorough cleaning and new paint. If you aren’t going to run the locomotive anymore remove the dust/grease filled tracks. Or at least wash them and use them to hang western boots, hats, antiques, etc. from. And at least get some brown duck tape and cover the torn booth seat. Please be sure your menus are clean. That was...
Read moreI should have known better as soon as we walked in the door and there was an odd musty smell in the restaurant. The hostess was sitting almost we everyone in the same area, so the space felt crowded. It was pretty early in the evening and they were not busy at the time, but several servers and staff were all in the same area. Someone was sorting silverware right behind us almost the entire time. That was loud and quite annoying. Now that the awful atmosphere is set, let's discuss the food. The rolls and peanuts maybe free, but considered the doctor bills and missed work you will have from eating raw dough and rancid peanuts. The rolls felt like they were wet, weighed about a pound a piece, and was like glue in your mouth. We ordered the cheese fries, and they were not good at all. I couldn't even finish my salad. I guess I was well on my way to loosing my appetite by then. I ordered the chicken strips and baked potato. The chicken was barely warm, and the potato was still hard in the middle. My husband had the Philly steak and onion rings. He didn't come close to finishing his plate, and trust me, if my husband can't eat the food, nobody can. The onion rings were a pile of cold grease and he said the meat had a very odd taste. At that point I was completely done. The only good thing I can say about our visit is the fact the manager didn't charge us for anything and gave us a card for a free visit. But then again it is not free if it is going to make me sick and I am not going to take the chance. The best part is that on each table there is a card that states the danger of eating undercooked food (Very high class), and basically most of the food was undercooked or served at an unsafe temperature. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO CARSON'S FREE OR NOT! This is the longest review I have ever given, but they certainly...
