MOOYAH Burgers is a fantastic addition to the District in South Jordan. We went there for the first time three days ago and enjoyed it enough to come back again today. I had the “Best Quesonario” and we shared the “shareable fries” (enough for 5 of us) both times as well. While the food and atmosphere stand on their own, this 5 star review is dedicated to my man Taj - our red-dyed braided hair server.
Dude is a born to be a people person. He took and served our order the first day and set the whole thing off perfectly for us. If the food had just been average, Taj’s vivacity and friendliness ensured we have a good experience.
Fast forward three days and we came back to introduce our new favorite burger joint to our friends and Taj was there for us again, and remembered us from our last visit. You know how some people schedule their hair appointments around a single beautician? I could see us checking Taj’s work schedule to stop by while he’s on.
Hey Mooyah! You got yourselves...
Read moreThe burger was good. The single is too thin yet the double added way too much for simply adding another thin patty. Not a great value though tasted fine. A thicker patty would have been nice. Tasty bun! Fresh toppings.
A serving of fries was generous. The fries were okay. Nothing to write home about.
The shake seemed like a vanilla mix from a machine with some mint flavor added in. Not real ice cream. If you like dark chocolate chips, the mint chip shake is for you. There were ¼ cup or more of chocolate chips. Way too much for my taste.
The service was pretty good. One young man was really hustling, taking orders, busing tables, picking up trash from the floor, checking on customers. Others got their jobs done without the hustle.
It was nice to try something different. It was okay. It’s not a place I’ll avoid though nothing was so good that it will pull me...
Read moreThis place was really good. There is a lot of selection and we tried a little of everything. My husband got the Diablo burger and loved it. The fries are fresh and cooked well (I don’t like squishy) the chocolate shake was delicious as well.
The reason for my lower rating was that I specifically asked if the black bean burger was gluten free beacuse their menu at the register didnt have any labels of what was and I was told yes by 2 people. A couple hours later I started getting sick and I looked on their website and it is in fact not gluten free. Now I’ll be sick for several days. Staff should be 100% sure about allergies and if not should point customers to the website to be sure.
I added their gluten free menu (I found after) to anyone...
