Our visit to this Subway was unfortunately the worst customer service experience we've had. We walked it at about 6:50pm on July 14th. There was only one staff member at the front. After a while a second staff member came out of the bathroom (said it was out of service) right then the first guy asked the second one if we wanted another "chela" (beer) immediately they took on a very unprofessional manner and used a lot of profanity, that however, wasn't the worst part. Our sandwiches were made very sloppy, the guy making them only had 1 glove on. Then, when the second guy was preparing to put the veggies on this sandwich, the bread was so out of shape and cut that a piece stared falling into the little trash hole that they have for bad veggies, rather than redoing it, he just pulled up the piece and continued on. We sat down there and noticed how they seemed as if under the influence of something. Another customer also started recording them and of course, then their manners changed. It was a very bad experience due to the unprofessionalism and offering terrible quality subs. A little later other workers came in and they were much more professional but by then we were leaving. Read moreI had to calm down before writing this, Coming down to my closest SubWay shop I had to wait for a while because of a few spanish speakers finding it difficult to order, that was okay, I wanted to help them because I speak Spanish aswell but my social anxiety beat me and unfortunately i stayed quiet. The person that was making their sandwiches was so incredibly rude, he got mad when he had to repeat what he said, when the customers ordered two six inch sandwiches of the same type, he rudely said “you could have just ordered a footling and wrapped it separately,” I was very angry and considered leaving the shop, but then when he asked for my order, his vibes entirely changed, he seemed nicer and changed his facial expression, I was so angry and disgusted that In an angry but calm voice told him my order. Read moreThe lady in there that was working had a badge on that covered her name, and it said “hablo espanol” she was super rude and disrespectful to an elderly lady who was trying to pay for her food. The employee told the lady to swipe the card, when obviously the card had a chip. She looked at me and asked to help her. I’m like, what? Your the employee, show your customer service and have patience.
Also, only her working, at 1:00pm. Several people came in. No one else working. Taking several minutes to get someone in and out. I’ve been in retail, food and grocery for over 10 years. I’ve never seen anything like this.
In addition I don’t understand why there is two subways within a mile of each other, very confusing when trying to order off...
