Oh, where do I even begin with this catastrophic breakfast experience at McDonald's? It was an absolute disaster from start to finish, and I've seen better service at a zoo cafeteria. I couldn't help but wonder if the employees had received any training at all, because their incompetence was truly mind-boggling.
Firstly, the line was longer than the Great Wall of China, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than attending to the customers. I must say, I've never witnessed such a lack of urgency in my entire life. People were visibly fuming, and rightfully so, as their precious time was being wasted on this circus act.
When I finally reached the counter, I was greeted by a disheveled employee who couldn't be bothered to lift an eyebrow, let alone crack a smile. It was as if I had disturbed their beauty sleep. And don't even get me started on the order accuracy. I requested a simple breakfast sandwich without cheese, but apparently, that was an impossible feat for the culinary geniuses behind the counter.
To make matters worse, the dining area resembled a war zone. Tables were dirty, littered with crumbs and discarded wrappers. It was a sight that would make even the most laid-back of health inspectors break into a cold sweat. Clearly, cleanliness was not high on their priority list.
As I sat down to enjoy my lukewarm excuse for a meal, I couldn't help but notice the symphony of complaints echoing through the air. Angry customers expressing their frustration and disappointment filled the atmosphere, creating a cacophony of discontent that would make the loudest heavy metal concert seem like a lullaby.
In summary, this McDonald's breakfast experience was an absolute nightmare. From the abysmal service to the appalling food quality, it was a masterclass in how not to run a fast-food establishment. I can only hope that someone with a shred of competence takes over and brings this disaster of a McDonald's back from the brink. Until then, I wouldn't wish this experience upon my...
Read moreWent in for breakfast and it was packed, to be expected. The line at the register was long so we opted to use the kiosk. As we were ordering, we discovered that there was no option for a sausage egg and cheese biscuit, only a sausage egg biscuit. So we added cheese to the biscuit but then tried to order a large drink with the combo but only saw a small option. Because of this is we decided to order at the register. We cleared our order and went to the girl to place our order. I pulled up my code in the app for a $2 breakfast sandwich, which I use every time I come to McDonald’s for breakfast. After we paid, I looked at my receipt and noticed that she charged me $4.79 for each sandwich. I stand in line for over 10 min to get this corrected. As I’m standing in line, I watch this guy get his coffee and tell them that he ordered milk. She tells him that milk costs extra and he wasn’t charged for it. He says but I ordered it. So they just handed it over to him for free. Do they fix my issue? Nope! The girl tells me that I gave her a code for points. I told her that she is incorrect, the code I gave her was for a $2 breakfast sandwich. She goes to the manager and he tells her that since I already paid he can’t change it. And that the code is for points. I don’t even use my points! I have so many points I would never use a code for points! So I ask to speak to the manager and she’s telling me that I didn’t use the app right. I know how to use the app, like I said I use it all of the time!! I can’t believe how rude and unaccounted these people were. It wasn’t the $3 I was saving at this point, it was the fact that I used my code for a reason and I wasn’t given what I was told by using it. Then to be treated the way I was, ridiculous! The so called “manager” turned around and walked off in the middle of me speaking! Appalling!! She wasn’t even the manger. The guy in the slacks and nice shirt standing in...
Read moreCame to this McDonald's with my family on vacation. Late thursday night we come in and all the chairs are on tables so it's very clear that the lobby is closed. No worries, we ordered and sat outside at the dirty tables to eat. Next morning we come in to have a quick breakfast. The chairs are on the floor, the place looks clean and looks like it is now ok to eat inside. My family orders food, and sits down. We are politely asked to eat outside as the lobby is closed. I'm not understanding, as the chairs are clearly sat neatly at the table making it look like it is free to sit down. We ablige the manager and go outside to eat in the heat. Our order was brought out quickly but was missing an item so I went all the way around the restaurant to go in the "in" door. While I'm there waiting, I notice that the McDonald's management team is sitting down at a table enjoying their breakfast, talking and laughing about. I understand that we just got through a pandemic, I understand the severity of covid. I also understand that companies are now left with the decision to open their lobbies or not. What this McDonald's management does not understand is their pathetic, irresponsible, unethical and extremely hypocritical decision to put themselves above customers. Treating us as second class citizens. If you're going to enforce the rule; then do it! But at least have it apply to yourselves as much as...
