Now, let's talk about the food. The breakfast nachos at Old Cuss Coffee were absolutely incredible. The combination of crispy tortilla chips, savory toppings, and melted cheese was pure perfection. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and I found myself savoring every mouthful. It's safe to say that the breakfast nachos alone are worth a visit to this delightful coffee shop.
Speaking of coffee, Old Cus Coffee definitely knows how to brew a fantastic cup. The cappuccinos I ordered were nothing short of excellent. The rich and smooth espresso paired perfectly with the velvety steamed milk, creating a heavenly drink that I couldn't get enough of. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just enjoy a good cup of joe, you won't be disappointed with the cappuccinos at Old Cus Coffee.
One of the unique aspects of Old Cus Coffee is that they have vintage shopping available while you wait for your food. This added touch made my experience even more enjoyable. I had a great time browsing through the curated selection of vintage items, and it added a fun and nostalgic element to my visit. It's a wonderful way to pass the time and make your visit to Old Cus Coffee even more memorable.

Read moreI’ve been to old cuss a few times before and have always had good service and great coffee. Today was a little different.
I went with a friend to get a cup of coffee and was roped in easily by one of the vegan breakfast entrée options. Staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed browsing the unique wares while we waited for our food to be prepared.
The food could be smelled before it was tasted obviously, and I could not believe the complexity of the fragrance is coming from the kitchen! Not what you usually expect from a small coffee shop!
When my hash came out, it was beautiful, steaming and full of fresh, tender, crispy AND chewy mushrooms, onions, etc. with potato cubes that were Lightly crisped on the outside with a tender rich buttery inside. I had no idea what I was in for! I ate the first half there in the coffee shop and just finished the second half after warming it at home, as the portions were generous. It was potentially even better on the second round! Absolutely delicious! Bravo!!!!!
Food aside, I was very impressed with the young folks running the establishment this morning. It was below freezing outside and a man who was obviously down on his luck entered the coffee shop and paced around erratically, taking drinks out of the drink case and then putting them back while mumbling to himself. An employee who I think was the owner if the shop stood calmly, conversing with this gentleman, treating him with kindness and respect, and in the end, - the man left saying Thank you, with a drink in EACH hand which he had been provided by the staff member, free of charge. This professional chap didn’t make a scene of it, and when I pointed out his good deed as I left, he was humble and didn’t seem to want any attention or mention of it. 💙
It’s good to know there are good people, good coffee and good vegan food in the world! Specifically at...
Read moreThe little shop inside was pretty but the food was mid. Got a ‘hash’ (sorry it really just looked like a salad) and half the greens in it were wilted and shrunken. (But maybe it should be more potatoes and other veggies than greens if that’s an issue you’re clearly seeing cause other ppl might just see wilted greens too but that’s just my suggestion...) The burrito was okay but it was literally just a cold tortilla. Not warmed and sealed at all on a pan. Preparation not really matching the price for me. Also the menu was kinda confusing to read.
(Did not know the ‘rito could be remade at all. If I had, I truly would’ve asked. But If your Serving a hot dish, the whole dish should be hot.. Don’t know why Im getting such a heated reply tho… secondly Chains are always unappetizing. Applebees gives people food poisoning and chili’s is beyond mid hence why I don’t eat there?. I love the assumption tho... So yes I was expecting just a lil more detail from a local business. Because I too want to enjoy a dish I pay for and support small shops. However Im a person who’s gonna be blunt and not sugarcoat something that’s an issue for me just like other possible future customers you might have. I Wish people serving food would understand that some customers also care about what they eat and how they eat it. A review is a whole critique based off a single customer experience. “Reviews are helpful both good and bad ones” Thanks for the reply. Wish y’all the...
