Baby Bar — Restaurant in Spokane

Terrible place wouldn’t recommend refused to serve me or my wife from out of town visiting from Oregon for a funeral because she has a vertical id 25 years of age btw which is understandable but I tried to give him my temp which was vertical and he said he needed my old one which obv got hole punched and ripped apart at the dmv so I offered to even show him my olcc Oregon liquor license which has name date of birth and adress on it to match my id he was super rude and told us to just get a vertical ! And I wouldn’t have that issue ! which isn’t even in our control so he told us to get out we were in a group of 7 btw so he ended up kickin all of us out ….. would never recommend to anyone this was my first time in Spokane first place we stopped on our trip as well truly a terrible...

The Baby Bar is a great place - perfect size, cool and interesting bands. Poetry night. Great drinks in the cozy bar. We live downtown just a few blocks away and stop in often. We dressed up and dropped by tonight for the Winter Formal. Surprisingly we were turned away by the door guy. Didn’t have a black tie. Ok - we left. Looked thru the window and saw many guys without a black tie. Age discrimination? We’re in our 50’s....

What a quaint and hip joint. I stopped by on a Wednesday evening and the place was poppin’! I love the little signs over the bar, especially the one that says “PLEASE make out in the hallway” which was a great icebreaker on the first date I had there. Not to mention the big Danny Devito mural! I’m not sure what other alcohol free options the bar offers but I had two ginger beers...
