Went here for the 3 course restaurant week. Had Ale House Mushrooms for the first Course which were excellent with the dips presented. Second Course was a chicken scaloppini sandwich with a black garlic cream and sautéed mushrooms and arugula on a ciabatta bun. It was good but would have been better if the chicken breast was flattened out. The third Course was a blood orange brulee which tasted amazing. I was warned it was thinner in texture than the normal brulee which it indeed was, but the flavor was out of this world with fresh berries and whipped cream.

At first, I wasn't sure what to think of Post Street Ale House. Then I sat down and ordered the fish & chips. Small pieces of fish and mostly fries consisted of the order. And I paid $14.95 for it. I was VERY disappointed. Then.....I tried the fish and fries and was blown away! The fries were great, shoestring style. The fish was small portions but excellent! My only complaint was the breading. It was a bit on the dull side. Service, at least at the bar was good. They have a good tap selection as well. If I'm ever back in town, I'll definitely come back here.

We went to the Post Street Ale House to try a new place for lunch after my husband's eye Dr appointment today and before we made the long drive home. We had the bacon & beer cheese soup, mozzarella bombs appetizers and split a Cowboy burger. The food was great. The appetizers and burger were really flavorful and filling without feeling too heavy. Our server was really nice and attentive without being too attentive at all. The atmosphere was fine. Photos are of my Guinness and a half cup of the tasty soup. We'd definitely go back again.

This place shouldn’t even get a one star! Long review ahead.... A few of us got together at Post Street Ale House in the evening on a Thursday night. It wasn’t super busy. Our waiter was horrible. We sat towards the back but still on his route to other tables. We waited a good 7-10 minuets before one of us flagged him down. He just basically asked what we wanted wrote it down and took off. We ordered a few drinks and didn’t see them for about another 7-10 minuets. We ordered water and two beers. He brought the waters and took off before anyone really had a chance to ask him about the beers. Another waiter walked by and we asked him if he could get us the beers that our waiter forgot. He went and grabbed them and said they were just sitting up on the bar. Cool. Then we wanted to order food. AGAIN flagged our waiter down and ordered some food. Three of us ordered medium rare burgers. And asked him to bring us more water, (we all ran out of beer and water.) Some other waiter brought us our burnt burgers that clearly had little toothpicks in them that read, “Med Rare.” Our whole meal was disgusting and none of us wanted to try and see about getting them fixed because any time we wanted our waiter we had to stop him from walking past us to other tables. The only upside when we paid it didn’t take him 2 minuets and he had our cards back. The only quick service he gave all night.

We wrote out a review to the restaurant on the little comment card they gave us and we asked a bus girl if she could go get the manager. She was the only “highlight” of the night. She told us not to give it to the manager because the waitstaff just throws them away and doesn’t even look at them. She said if we wanted it actually read to take it across the street to the Davenport Hotel and give it to the front desk. (Apparently the D.H. Owns Post Street.)

My god. Never again. Worst service and terrible food!!! Don’t waste your...

We were in Spokane for business. My wife and I went here for lunch and the place was busy...sign of a good place to eat. After waiting an excessive amount of time to be waited on I ordered a beer and the wife had a sandwich with sweet potato fries. I got nothing to eat, just the beer. Wife's order was incorrect and no one came back to ask if we needed anything or if the food was ok. We figured they are busy and were not too concerned with the incorrect order. However after finishing half of the beer I noticed my glass was dirty and had a bunch of crud on the inside of the bottom of the glass. We waited a good 30 minutes until the waitress finally came back to give us the bill at which point I expressed my concern about the dirty glass and never said anything about the order being wrong, and even told her I would pay for the beer after she offered to take it off the bill. The manager then came out and accused me of cursing at the waitress and using vulgar language which by no stretch of the imagination was true. I don't appreciate being accused of untrue actions. The waitstaff and management are unprofessional in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere they will appreciate...

I have tried this place a handful of times through out the years. Each time just okay. Wednesday was the same. We sat down at a sticky table. It was busy kinda. There were 4-5 tables open but the entire back room closed off. So not too busy. As we made our way through the menu the server told us about half the menu was not available. Not exaggerating, we had to attempt to order three times due to what was not available. It was about 5:30ish. We had to ask for everything from silverware, drinks, water, ranch etc repeatedly. My three other friends gave up on trying to order a hot holiday drinks or beer as our server was very short with us and kept setting the one item down, not saying anything to us and running off. Not very polite either, we just kept being kind in case she had a rough day or shift. Our food was okay. Nothing terrible but nothing exciting to return again soon for. Really the service was what put us off. The other server was much more friendly and we wish we could have gotten her. Overall, this seems like a theme when we come here, not to sound that old, but "back in my day" of working service we could and would never be rude or act this way with all my...
