All of my experiences at this Sephora have been good up until my last visit. I was on a hunt for a new concealer and one of the workers (a middle aged blonde lady) offered to help me find the right one for me. We tested about 3 brands before I found the one I liked with the perfect shade. (It was by Lancome in shade Ivorie Cool) We both agreed that it matched my skin tone the best. So she leaves to grab me one in that shade. After she gives it to me I thank her and was genuinely grateful for her help. As I'm standing in line for checkout, I glance at it to make sure it's the correct shade...and it wasn't. It was Ivorie Warm. I thought she must've made a mistake so I walk over to the Lancome section to find my shade which turns out they were completely out of. So instead of letting me know they were out of that shade, she decided to give me a completely different one that we tested out and didn't work for me. I am cool toned and she knew that, but she gave me the one in a Warm shade hoping I wouldn't notice and purchase it. I tried to talk to her but as soon as we made eye contact she turned around and made a beeline to the backroom.    Read moreI booked myself for a hydra facial at the Sephora in downtown Spokane WA mall and was deeply disappointed. It first started when my appointment âsupposedlyâ wasnât in their system even though I received multiple email confirmations AND text message confirmations confirming my appointment. I showed these to the employees and still were giving me trouble about not being able to fit me in. They had me wait 40 min to see if someone could finally do it since I already paid and the employee who did come around, Amanda, was visibly sick. She even told me she was sick and still proceeded to be around my face with no mask and/or any sanitary precautions. I tried my best to be patient and understanding but Amanda did a horrible job. She didnât complete the hydra facial (only took 15 min which on avg takes 30-40min) and also forgot to do my lips which I paid for. I shouldâve asked for a refund for the whole experience but I just wanted to get out of there. Never again will I go to this Sephora again for any skincare appointments.    Read moreI'd never been to Sephora before today. I typically wear a very simple face of makeup--concealer, foundation, and mascara only. I've always felt very intimidated by the number of products and brands of makeup. I never could figure out exactly which ones would work well for my skin and needs.
I went to Sephora in Spokane today and asked Kait simply for a little help locating where I could find a clean brand of concealer and foundation in the store. She went ABOVE and beyond to help me. She showed me the location of clean products, helped me find my perfect color matches & brushes, answered ALL of my questions, and helped educate me with the basics of foundation, concealer, brushes, and more (all things I've been meaning to learn but have been too embarrassed/intimidated to ask about).
I've been to other makeup stores before, and my experience today exceeded all of my expectations. As soon as I realized how helpful and open to questions Kait was, I felt confident that I would be able to find the specific clean beauty products that I went to Sephora looking for today. I am SO thankful and impressed!!
