We have ordered to go in the past. Their banh mi sandwiches are delicious. So yesterday on a random Tuesday, I decided to treat my father-in law and my 2 babies to some Vietnamese food. I first walked in by myself to make sure it was not busy as I have twins and their stroller requires space. It was almost empty. We walked in and asked for a table for 2 plus 2 babies that would also be eating. The lady immediately rolled her eyes. She attempted to seat us all the way in the back with the tables that are very close together. I informed her we would need a different table. She offered me the table next to it. When I pointed at a table that seated 6 people she said it was too big. I asked where would we put the stroller and the high chairs if we sat in the smaller table that were tightly packed? She said “I don’t know”. I asked since it was not busy could she give us a bigger table. Especially since the babies were also eating. She rolled her eyes, slamming the menus on to the bigger table and walked away from us without saying one word. Her attitude was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Just tell me you don’t want to accommodate a stroller and babies. I wouldn’t like it but it’s better than the disrespectful attitude.
I realize that we could leave and eat somewhere else because this is Houston and Vietnamese restaurant are abundant. I will never patron this restaurant again and if you have children that require a high chair I...
Read moreI’ve been to this restaurant about 4 times. Great experience the first and third time (both night time). The second time I’ve gone it was to-go and the to-go guy was extremely rude. I try not to take it personally since it was lunch time and they were kind of busy but we went there this 4th time with a friend 45 minutes before closing. We were very excited to show him our new favorite spot. We were greeted by angry looks and a server rushing us through the menu in an EMPTY restaurant. He gave us the menus then expected us to know what we wanted right away. My toddler son is very social and like babbling away and this guy wouldn’t even look his way. I get it, I’ve been in the restaurant business and servers would get annoyed when customers came in right before closing. This wasn’t right before closing and the food came out right away as it always does and we were gone before closing (9pm). I’m just very disappointed in the way they handle themselves. We were so relieved when another couple walked in bc the whole thing was awkward. The guy was literally power walking back and forth as if in a hurry. Again, 45 minutes before closing…… that’s it, that’s the post. Smh. The food is incredible, customer service...
Read moreThe food was mediocre our usual pho place is closed Sundays so we tried Pho Ben and it not the greatest experience. The pho broth didnt have very good flavor it was ok. We ordered so much food and drinks and one of our milk teas was incorrect it was definitely a coffee when we tried to go inside to switch the coffee the lady at the cash register was so rude and accused us of not knowing what milk tea was, we drink milk tea often and had 3 other milk teas ordered the one we tried to return was 100% a coffee, also we order tapioca boba when we got our drinks they had some different jelly boba in them when we asked why she said they ran out of tapioca boba now instead of informing us so we can make our own decisions she just added whatever jelly she wanted, she treated us terrible and refused to switch the drink out it was very disappointing especially after spending over $100 on a large order for our family. I would have greatly appreciated if she just would have switch out the drink the flavor of the food didn't bother us as much as her being so rude, definitely never...
