I have only dined at Blaze's Pizza at couple of times, but each time I went the food and staff were absolutely amazing! They make the pizzas fast and delicious for a decent price, I just dont find myself in the area often.
My son's name is Blaze, and today he asked me if we could have pizza for dinner. He's been good lately, so I decided we could go to Blaze's Pizza since they share a name and the couple other times I went it was wonderful.
The staff were awesome, the place was busy and yet they were on top of making the pizzas for us and the others. They were incredibly friendly while me and my toddler fuddled through the topping choices and patient while my son went a little stir crazy and tried to explore the place while I waited to pay.
When I made it to the register, my card declined. It is Friday, and I know I had gotten paid. They were patient with me while I checked my funds and realized with embarrassment that bill payments had come out of my account sooner than I had realized. While I was trying to call my son's father to see if I could use his card to pay for the dinner, one of the managers was nice enough to elect to let me have the pizzas for my family, stating that they have wanted to try to do 'pay it forward' more.
I was embarrassed and felt awful, and tried to explain that i just needed to get ahold of my son's dad to try to pay for it, but they were so kind and assured me it was okay. They asked me to pay it forward in the future.
This kindness meant a lot to me. And I am extremely grateful. I will be returning when I have the money in my account to purchase dinner for my family again, and fully intend to tip them the amount that my pizzas tonight would have come to. Thank you all for being so wonderful and kind and patient. I truly appreciate it and my family enjoyed your pizza the moment we made...
Read moreBlaze pizza is the go to when you're feeling like building your own pizza! Tons of toppings and sauces to choose from. They offer variety of salads as well. A build your own pizza will run you about $9ish after tax(any toppings) and I'd say it's pretty comparable to a medium size pizza. Is it the best pizza I've ever ate? No but I'll put it up there in my top 4 pizza parlors.
Staff is always friendly and quick to assist you on an order as long as the lines aren't super long but even then they move extremely fast. I've seen the store manager in action and can stay he truly treats his costumers with respect and the way a true manager should.
The desserts come in large portions and are very tasty. The drink selection is on point and offers what most restaurants don't.
I'd consider this a true family restaurant especially after enjoying a movie at Tinseltown or maybe a long day at the Presque Isle Beach.
One recommendation I'd say is try a side of the balsamic drizzle to dip a slice in. The only thing I didn't care too much for was the spicy red pizza sauce. I love pretty much anything that adds spice to a meal but I didn't care much for the spicy red pizza sauce. Every opinion is different but I've ate here plenty enough times to say I'd stick with original red pizza sauce.

Read morei like to frequent blaze and i’m not the type of person to really leave reviews to complain. today before i even got to order my pizza a woman who was in a button up polo, not in t shirts like everyone else, was giving lip to the guy in front of me saying after so many toppings on the build your own pizza she had to charge him a dollar per extra topping, the employees told her she’s wrong, and then she proceeded to give them lip also. so i was scared to order my own pizza knowing i get three types of cheeses and three different meats. i ordered my pizza no problem and received it with hair melted into my cheese. i didn’t want to even say anything because i feared this lady behind the counter who wasn’t dressed like other employees. everyone else had their hair contained by a baseball cap or in some other type of hat. this lady had this big messy floppy bun on top of her head over spilling the sides of her visor, with no hair net. was the hair in my pizza hers? probably not. is it still an issue? yeah. a really sweet girl remade my pizza and gave me a cookie and she was very apologetic and nice to me even though it wasn’t her fault. the guy cutting the pizzas was really nice too. i was facing away from the counter in a booth and my friend facing towards the counter watched the polo lady talking at her employees and being super rude to them. boo polo lady. probs wont order for...
