Panera Bread — Restaurant in Summit Township

We just wanted to get coffee. They did not have the self-serve kiosk in this location. We had to wait in he's very slow line. Seemed that the staff was moving very slow. We finally got to order our three coffee's. After we got our cups and went to get coffee, out of the four coffees in one hot water thermos, three of them were completely empty and had been for quite a while. there were still people waiting for coffee to come. I caught a manager for a brief moment and explain to her the situation. She said they had coffee brewing I told her that one lady that work there had told us they just finished brewing one full thermos and it would be right out but it never came. Then that lady that told me they were bringing out a thermos said it wasn't as ready as she thought it was so we were still missing all of the coffee. The manager offered to refund me the money but we had already filled are cups with a mixture of hot water and the one blend that was still available. I told her that she no longer offered the refund. We probably should have gotten to refund. We had weak water down coffee instead. This was at 10 a.m. when there should be everything available. Is extremely apparent that this place is badly managed. Coffees should never be out for 30 minutes or longer all of them we're empty. I have never liked Panera. My family does so we went there for coffee because we could use the kiosk that didn't exist and it became this tragic nightmare of everything wrong. Loved it. Their baja grain bowls are like no one ever. Had allergies so they were happy to substitute the full, nice looking bowl I saw in the picture to a less than half full bowl with one avacado. Chicken floated right up to the top so I could eat it easily and the avocodo was squish the way I like.

I highly reccommend

The green tea with the exotic fruits in it I tried was super good, very sweet but not really too so.

While this is all good and all, I did have some concerns. I talked to this lady at the front whose head kinda looked like a dragon fruit about my allergies and she told me she was going to hook me up nice. I was pretty happy at this point, thinking about the the size of bowl I saw in the picture and figuring spending $8 on the bowl it should be real nice, but then she gave it to me like half eaten. The bowl was DELICIOUS but stilll the pictures tricked me. Reminds me of the time I was in the hospital and the nurse ate half my spring roll because she never got a lunch break.

So I came for lunch today and ordered for myself a pick two, and a friend of mine a half a sandwich and normally only order the pick two so I did not know the price of the half a sandwich. They told me one total at the ordering window, and when I got to the window, she stated a different total. I politely just said hey can I get a receipt too please And she acted like I was asking for $1 million and like huff and puffed at me maybe they give you a receipt anyhow and I didn’t need to ask but I didn’t know.
