Well, where do I even begin? I walked into this coffee shop full of hope and dreams, ready to sip on a long black and feel like I could conquer the world. What I got instead was a cup of what can only be described as a liquid betrayal.
I ordered a long black, expecting something bold, rich, and smooth - like the deep, sultry voice of a jazz singer. What I received was more like a sour, rancid scream from a sad, abandoned coffee bean that had clearly given up on life after being roasted forever figuratively and literally. Honestly, it tasted like they brewed it with the tears of an overworked intern whoâd accidentally spilled sour milk into the cup and then forgot to filter it out.
The bitterness wasnât that delightful espresso sharpness that makes you feel alive. No, this was the kind of bitterness you feel when your best friend eats the last slice of pizza and doesnât even feel guilty about it. The coffee tasted like it had been hanging out with the wrong crowd for way too long - stale, rancid, and downright offended that it had to be in my mouth.
To sum it up: If you're looking for a cup of coffee that will make you feel like youâre sipping from the depths of despair, then by all means, give this place a try. 1/5

It's been so cool learning how they make their coffee from sourcing, to roasting, and to brewing. Their special attention to all the details in the process really shines when you take that first sip. If you are a local coffee snob like me looking for a consistent, chill, and quality place,...
