( i have only put 1 star because it wont let me put none )
After visiting Filippis in Little Italy last year when i found out there was one closer to my mums last week i was extremely happy. So i decided that i would take to my mum dad & son tonight for a meal to the Temecula Filippis for my birthday . The Happiness stopped there unfortunately , we ordered the food & the soups came first for myself & my son & my parents had the salad before we even half way through the soups our main courses came , so my son left his soup so he could start his main course , my sons main course was the only one that was edible which was the cannelloni, I had the Spaghetti with a meatball which was horrific , totally inedible bland sauce , mass produced rubbery spaghetti that had been sat for ages in a kitchen & then had sauce thrown over it , my parents had the Chicken Parmigiani , which the chicken & spaghetti were just rubbery with no taste whatsoever .
The server( who i thought was very rude to be honest with no smile at all whilst serving & taking the order ) came over to ask if would like boxes to which i replied no thank you & proceeded to tell her that the meal was complete rubbish which she ignored me & said she would get the ticket .
We were asked again at the cashier " how was your meal " which my mum related her views on the meal but was just ignored , my dad paid for the meal which was $95 for the 4 of us & we couldnt get out of the restaurant quick enough.
I have taken this personally as it was my suggestion , after the fantastic meal we had in San Diego & my birthday too. The Temecula franchise does not give the Filippis chain a good name if it is churning very poor standard food on a regular basis like we have had tonight , i can safely say we will not be returning to the Temecula Filippis again , & after our experience i would say to other people i would think twice about visiting it as well, & look at other Filippis franchises , especially the Little Italy...
Read moreVery rude....Do not patronize would give zero stars if it was an option. Food has no flavor. My sister is in town visiting and wanted to have pizza for dinner. She called and ordered and we were going to pick up. When we arrived at the restaurant my husband wanted to eat there there is 3 people in our party, since it had only been about 10 minutes since we ordered and they said 30 minutes, we thought this should be okay. The restaurant was not busy less than half tables were being used, they acted like it was a inconvenience for them but they did accommodated....but they sat us in back where they have boxes all over half the tables and it was very unorganized. There was about 10 or so tables in the back but we were the only ones seated back there. In the front of the restaurant there is about 20 tables or so that were only half full too. After we were there for about 15 minutes and almost done eating the other worker/waitress there said they have a Reservation at 530pm for 14 people and they needed our table. We said we were almost done but though that was very rude to tell paying customers you need their table when there was many other tables available that they could accommodated this party with. So the lady walked away when we said we were almost done, not even 2 minutes later the lady worker approached again saying we needed to change tables. This is not acceptable behavior from a restaurant to treat anyone this way. I then told her how very rude that was to treat customers this way when all those other tables are there they could accommodate them. The food isn't very good ( very bland, no taste) but then they have this kind of attitude towards customers. NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY HAVE ANY BUSINESS FROM MY FAMILY and they shouldn't have...
Read moreI have never seen such a horrendous display of customer belittlement as my wife experienced with Filippi’s manager Thursday Night 10/9/14. When she called to order dinner for our family, they girl on the phone said she could not order the Italian Feast For Two to go. Since it was 8:45 my wife asked if we came in, would we still be able to order & eat, & was told Yes. She calls me, since I am already in Temecula, & has me go over to get us a table. She then calls the restaurant back & tells them we will be coming in & wanted to order the Feast for Two. She was told you are not allowed to “Order In” over the phone. I arrive & am told, “we’re closed & the ovens are off!” So why did they tell my wife to come in & order if they were going to turn us away. My wife who was on her way, then calls & asked why did they tell us to come in if they were going to close. The girl put the manager on the phone who preceded to “SCOLD MY WIFE”, for trying to order the special to go, & then trying to come so late because the owner told them to close early! My wife asked why would you tell us its OK to come in if you were closing??? The manage continued to be VERY RUDE & condescending to my wife who then said “Thank You for such Outstanding Customer Service.” The manage said “Your Welcome, Bye” & then hung up on her.
So now you know NOT to BURDEN FILLIPI”S with patronize this restaurant & inconveniencing the staff with expectations of providing service to customers. It’s much too inconvenient for them. I know our family will never bother to eat there again. Too bad for them, we were regular customers, in spite the sometimes slow serve due to...
