I came here with my family and it is a place to definitely try out! My oldest daughter is very picky and she even enjoyed and loved the food. We tried the Tom Yum, the crying tiger fried rice, spring rolls, pot stickers, fresh fruits, and Thai tea. All dishes were amazingly delicious with beautiful plating presentation and we were able to customize the spice intensity. We also tried their chili oil, don't forget to ask for that when you come check it out, it has a great smokey, roasted chili flavor. This place was very authentic in flavor, taste, and experience. We were able to see chef Eddie (the owner) cooking and the service went above and beyond. We met the owner, got to know him and how passionate he is about his cooking his mother's recipes and we were able to taste the love and passion in the food. It's a start up restaurant with an original handmade sign out front but I can see this place making it big. We dined in and currently there was room for 4 but they also have take out options. We are definitely coming back to try their other dishes and definitely hiring them for catering our future events. Thank you...
Read moreBest Vegan spot in town!!! I ordered some food from The Vegan Spot and was very pleasantly surprised that the food looked exactly like advertised and tasted like HEAVEN! I tried the Slumdog Millionaire Thai Rice, Crying Tiger Fried Rice, Green Curry, Pad-See-Ew and Tom Kah - no I didn't eat all this own my own lol. I ordered for my family but tried a bit of everything. Everything tasted fresh and was still warm like it had just came out of the kitchen! My taste buds were super happy to say the least which speaks wonders of this place and it's chef since most Vegan Restaurants can sometimes make Vegan food not as exciting. But man did this food hit the spot! I am forever a fan of this place and will continue to recommend to friends and family as this place has won my heart and my tummy! If you're thinking about trying, think no more. Give it one try and you'll be hooked...
Read moreCame here for dinner for the first time. What mad me want to try this place was the vegan selections. There isn’t a sign out front that says The Vegan Spot, but the directions were accurate. I had the fried zucchini and CHIANGMAI SPICY NOODLES. Both were really good! You can choose the spice level of the noodles. I chose a 7, which was just the perfect level for me. The owner is super friendly and was very accommodating. He wanted to make sure that the food was made to our liking and that it tasted okay. Since we were his very first dine-in customers he made us a special fruit plate and even offered to give us some Thai tea. We politely declined because we were both full at the point. I will definitely order from this place again. I am looking forward to trying the...
