I usually post reviews on Yelp but this place is so good, I have to spread the word here too : )
What an incredible find! I'm somewhat new to the world of matcha and love it as a healthier, tastier alternative to coffee.
Our Matcha Place has it all - amazing drinks (and food too), 5++ star service (think a super luxury hotel) and amazing aesthetic. As a small business owner (different industry), I know how much effort it takes to execute all of those things and OMP seems to do it with ease.
I've been there 4 times now and every drink is fabulous. The Almond Toffee Crunch is my favorite decadent drink and the Matcha Tonic is my go-to when I just want to enjoy the pure matcha flavor. They use the best grade of Matcha, I think it's called ceremonial. The flavor is far superior to other matcha I've had - clean, smooth, and with depth.
I've been taken care of by 3-4 different employees/managers and they are all awesome - skilled, friendly and genuinely care about taking care of their customers. (Hint: they are a wealth of knowledge if you are trying to decide between drinks). From ordering to presentation and the actual drinks, it's perfection. The impeccable service is NOT something I expected walking into a cafe/coffee shop - what a pleasant surprise.
Special shoutout to Leila and Danielle - I believe they are the managers and boy do they run a tight ship!
The vibe is amazing - upbeat, friendly, all kinds of clientele. Great music and everything is pink - so cool! They also have a VIP Lounge which I'm going to try because it looks like a really comfortable work space.
Pro tip: the food is every bit as good as their amazing drinks. On my last visit I had the Prosciutto di Parma Bagel. Mind blown. I love prosciutto, arugula and onions (these ones are pickled) but had no idea that spicy honey was up my alley. Note: they call them "small bites" but this dish was a full meal.
You need to try this. Well worth a drive if you...
Read moreHey Courtney! I had to take a moment to write this because, honestly, "Our Matcha Place" has become one of my absolute favorites in Temecula. From the moment you walk in, you can tell there's something special about the vibe you’ve created—there’s such a cozy yet fresh energy that feels like a perfect blend of calm and excitement.
The matcha itself? Wow. The quality is on another level. I’ve had matcha at other places, but nothing compares to the rich, smooth flavor you’ve perfected here. It’s evident you put so much care into sourcing the best ingredients and crafting each drink with attention to detail. Plus, the variety of options you offer is impressive, from the classic matcha lattes to more adventurous creations that are always spot on.
But it’s not just about the drinks. I absolutely love the little touches that make "Our Matcha Place" stand out. Whether it’s the eco-friendly cups, the relaxing playlist you’ve got on, or the friendly service (seriously, your team is always welcoming and knowledgeable), it all adds up to a genuinely delightful experience.
And let’s not forget the aesthetic! The space is so inviting and well-thought-out—perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. Plus, those cute little matcha-inspired treats you’ve been offering? Genius.
If anyone is looking for an authentic matcha experience in Temecula, they absolutely need to stop by. I can’t recommend it enough.
Thanks for making such a wonderful spot for matcha lovers to come together. Can’t wait to be back...
Read moreJust a few things to keep in mind for anybody wanting to try Our Matcha Place…
Value: Yes the Matcha is delicious! the Ice to drink ratio however was disappointing, when ordering a drink anywhere you expect your drink with a side of ice, unfortunately I felt that there was a lot more ice than latte, I would estimate that you probably get around 8-10 oz of drink in their standard 16 oz latte, the rest is ice…this is especially disappointing because each drink is $10 or more. I would just keep this in mind. Environment: I love the welcoming atmosphere and appreciated the all pink decor however please keep in mind that this may be overstimulating for some considering that the space is definitely on the smaller side and there is loud, upbeat house music playing while you sip. Wait: The wait times were a little bit steep, we waited about 20 minutes (maybe more or a bit less) for our food (a bagel and avocado toast), I don’t completely fault them because there were only 3 employees - 2 making drinks and 1 making food; this is just something to keep in mind if you’re short on time.
Overall besides the points that were made above, I do appreciate the girly and chic environment and enthusiasm from all of the workers, the food is also brought to you wherever you are sitting which was a nice touch. Aside from the amount of ice, the matcha...
