Burrito Express — Restaurant in Tempe

These guy saved my morning after waking up and going to my usual breakfast burrito spot and finding that it closed down. I was bummed! So, I thought I'd give this place a try. Soooo bomb!! I got the spicy machaca w/cheese. And my girl got the bean, cheese, potato, and bacon. Now this is a big deal for us because my girl does t like eggs so when we find a place that's cool with sub-ing out eggs for something else it's a MAJOR plus! We also got both the red and green salsa. These burritos were amazing! Stuffed full, hold together, and not greasy. And my spicy machaca was sooooo damn good. The dude behind the counter was also super cool. Definitely our new burrito spot and I must say... they're better than my spot that...

I understand that it’s Easter but this review is my complaint on a lack of professionalism, not food quality. I checked Google, to see if they were open and it said yes (hours may vary for Easter). Then I called their phone and their automated voice system that they use because they don’t answer the phone anymore said that they were indeed open today. It doesn’t take more than a click on your company email to clarify Google business hours. You could have even made a separate answering machine for just the day then changed it tomorrow. No, both of these neglected opportunities were the result of a manager who didn’t feel like taking 5-10 minutes to prevent customers from wasting their time...

The breakfast burritos are decent, nothing that will blow you away. I do like, however, that the bacon in the breakfast Supreme burrito is crispy. The salsas are a little bland but have a good spiciness to them. Pro tip, order ahead. We usually get burritos delivered at work from the location on University and Rural. I made the mistake of walking in to get two breakfast burritos and it took half an hour for them to make two burritos? I, along with everyone else in the lobby were amazed at how long small orders were taking, especially since the quality is basically something you can get at a filiberto's and fili b's will have you in and out...
